Why do you think that?

I save nectar points throughout the year and spend them on my big Christmas/new years shop. More than happy to get my shopping for £100 less than it should be 😅
because they stopped doing that double points for christmas and it feels like you have to buy loads everytime to get them.
The double points went from being everything to being really specific and then dropped

I have the nectar app and it's really easy to save up the points as you often get more than double the points for items on your nectar offers. I find that my offers are almost always items I've bought before, so it's not like I'm buying random things just to try and collect points.

Yesterday for example, I spent just over £29, so got 29 points, but I also got an extra 70 points from my nectar offers, so I technically got over triple points for that shop. They also have various events throughout the year where they give you an extra 1000 points or so over the course of a month by you hitting certain targets, which I find easy to reach, even shopping for just a family of two, so I can't really complain about how Sainsbury's are doing nectar points tbh!

Be careful with the nectar points as I’ve heard about people’s accounts being hacked
Thank you. They've now introduced locked spending so hopefully they will be safe.

You can use them in Argos too, but there isn't anything I particularly want. :ROFLMAO:

you can't use your points unless you scan it and swipe it with the actual physical card now

I need to think of some small treats for an advent calendar I want to make. The drawers are not tiny. Could get a packet of sweets in there.
I want it to be a treat for me to look forward to in December.
I've thought of a pair of socks, some sweets.... but I have another 23 things to think of.
Any suggestions?

I’m not sure if I’m ashamed or proud to say I’ve almost finished my Christmas shopping for my 2 kids. Aside from deciding on their “big” present (either a 3D printer or electric scooters), I have almost everything bought and stored away 🙈

Face masks, mini toiletries from brands you like but don't usually get, fragrance oils, wax melts, keyrings, those little corner shop bottles of booze, gift vouchers to your favourite shops, stationery including cute pads, and so on.

Great idea.

Well, women generally organise it all so it's nice to have something to look forward to!

Mini bottles of bath stuff, handcream, a voucher, hand made soap, little perfume, face cream! Wrap them all as you get them, pop them in a bag then when you fill your calendar you will have forgotten what's in it all

Ooh handmade soap..🤔 I was clearing out a kitchen cupboard top shelf today and I found my soap making kit.
Your suggestion has got me thinking of making some soap and making it special.
I'm sure I've got some teeny weeny craft kits. Maybe put one of them in the calendar.
You've all got my brain cells ticking. 😁

Only said that as I absolutely love soap, the more natural the better! You could make some christmas scented ones - orange/lemon and ginger is one of my favourites!

How about a promise note to yourself:

This voucher entitles the bearer to an afternoon on the sofa with a cosy blanket, good book and packet of luxury biscuits 🤗.
