I was clearing out the dump spare bedroom earlier and found my Halloween cushions and got a tiny bit excited - even though I am THE biggest summer lover!!

I cannot believe it’s June. I’ve seen TK Maxx are getting their Halloween stuff in.

It’s a little bit chilly and overcast here and a TV day under the blanket so the temptation to put on the autumn candles and carve a pumpkin is real!

Same here. I have my candle on, a summer one but still lovely. Have the heating on low as it’s defo chilly. Autumn vibes. Not be long under the summer solstice also.

Autumn and winter are my favourite seasons. I love the rain and the cold. 🥶

I played Micheal Buble whilst getting ready this morning.

I’ve been collecting bits and bobs for my toddler, so far I’ve got:
Bath crayons (Aldi)
Enid Blyton Christmas stories tonie book which was reduced in John Lewis and I had a £5 voucher
Sachets of Zimpli snowball stuff
A Duplo construction vehicles set which was reduced to £8 in John Lewis
Just ordered a Galt space jigsaw which was reduced to £6 on amazon

Some things will be part of his DIY advent calendar. Just trying to take the pressure off in December! 🎄 we probably won’t do any big gifts as he already has a balance bike and tonnes of other toys tbh, we love the charity shop but it’s harder to put those things away as he’s already seen them 😂

I got one of them flowers that is a bubble machine from Aldi.
I was watching Dainty Diaries party prep for her niece's confirmation yesterday and she had 2 of them. I thought they looked cute.
Then later on I think it was her brother who'd pushed the boat out for the niece and hired a glam bus and got some balloon party decs.
Sounded like the little girls adored the flower bubbles and didn't seem as interested in the glam bus, so the brother was moaning about having wasted his money.😁
When I saw them in Aldi today I regressed to childhood and wanted one for myself, but decided to buy one as part of a Christmas present for children who don't get much for Christmas.
Should hopefully be a nice surprise for them.

I love reading about your love of Christmas because you are all so enthusiastic and positive which is how it should be. Never lose the love because it will keep you well.

Is everyone’s supermarkets points building up nicely? I’m doing the clubcard and Christmas saver scheme together, on target. Starting my M&S envelope this week now. 🎅🏻

My Park Savings account is up to date, which is a miracle. Tesco hasn't been topped up in awhile but my points are still going to the Christmas statement.

I've decided ever since Lidl downgraded their app to the nonsense it is now, that I'll save all my points on there to the end of the year and see what I can cash in then.

Otherwise I don't really bother. I start buying my food bits in around October time. Anything that has a date beyond Christmas, like Christmas puddings, fancy crisps, cheesy nibbles, chocolates, etc, I add into my basket with my weekly shopping. Then when I get home it gets put in a big box on a high shelf in the understairs cupboard. It's nice and cool under there, as it would have been the pantry originally, and nobody really goes in there. It's very much out of sight, out of mind.

Bought my niece a new switch game off Vinted for Christmas this morning and my nephew a fisher price railway new in box. Less than £20 for both and would’ve been about £60 new. Both are original packaging.

Just trying to get what I can when I can get it at the moment make things easier. I buy for 13 people so do it monthly or it gets expensive

Do you ever forget what you've stashed away? I think I would.
Yes but have a rolling notes app on my phone! And I cross off what I’ve bought it. I do wait until October to buy main as such presents but little bits usually are the same year on year. I’ve seen some people on TikTok already wrapping their presents though and that’s bonkers to me because surely you’ll forget then and they’ll get ripped and dusty?
