Absolutely and even less until the shops start stocking Christmas stuff. Plus people
Start decorating from November. So it’s not long at all. I love Halloween too, so even sooner for decorations.

Just pre ordered 2 of the sweetzy advent calenders. Im very easily influenced! One for me, one for one of the kids (y)
Ive not got any presents yet as everyone changes their minds so often so Im just sticking to my Park card and usual game gift cards for the teens.

It is. It’s being slightly ruined by my husband who is walking around with a cob on as I’ve told him he can’t have one for his birthday in a couple of weeks 🤣

I’ve got another one to make later in the week too (I ran out of currants 🙄)! I normally make them in late July, but I’m taking advantage of the cooler weather as it looks like July might be very warm again.

I am so blooming excited for Christmas! It will be my first Christmas as a Mrs - we get married after the summer and have a safari to Kenya planned. Our eldest daughter is almost 3 and she talks about Father Christmas ALL of the time, and also The Snowman. She woke up from her sleep the other day and said he had come to visit her, he held her hand and they flew high in the sky together 🥲. I think it’s going to be extra special this year as she’ll have an understanding of what’s happening and will be fab at opening her presents etc. Ahhh I tear up just thinking about November & December. Other than my partner and our girls, Christmas is what I live for!!!! This thread just makes my heart sing whenever there’s been new posts 💕💕💕 X

What an amazing age and it’s the only beginning of it all. My kids are up now, but they still absolutely love Christmas, I still treat them like wee kids with all the surprises and everything wrapped for the morning 🤣

Christmas has always been my celebration in the family, the one time of year where everyone knows I’ve gone miles past my budget but I love to see people smile. My mum passed away just after Christmas 2024 and I couldn’t bare to celebrate last year. I did the bare minimum because I have small children but this year I can feel my spark coming back. I’m looking at presents, looking at my budget (which will be ignored). I love this thread it makes me smile everytime I’m on here x
