Just preordered an advent calendar for my husband. He looks sweets and this is one that has different sweets behind each window. He gets frustrated with the haribo one as most of them are the same.

I’ve been introducing my daughter to Jane Hissey’s Little Bear, it’s all on YouTube (I wish we had a form of physical media left so she could know the joy of videos?!) including the Christmas video!! I *loved* it as a kid, like it sounds weird but the sensory elements of it like the flour on the zebra and him being washed etc etc? 🥲
Re Disney on ice - I know you don’t have kids so I’d say consider the potential hell/disappointment of being surrounded by kids in varying states of dysregulation? As happens to all kids this isn’t a slight on anyone! But it’s a consideration for even going with my LO cos I cba to go through that effort to be overstimulated af by a huge venue of kids going off!

You triggered a memory of story cassettes for me. I also loved going to Blockbuster’s with my aunt on Fridays.
Thanks for the advice Here. The price alone didn’t make it worth it to me. I paid £70 for two tickets the last time I bought, an almost X2 increase seems a bit much.
My sister said the same thing when she went to the London Aquarium during half term. That she would have enjoyed it better if there hadn’t been so many young kids too. I did buy them the Merlin passes when they were on sale so that’s going to keep them busy.
My sister did ballet when she was younger, so that explains my ballet heavy influence on this thread.
