I love Fortnum&Mason during the festive season. Liberty Christmas floor is a favourite too.

I found out that the Liberty beauty club saving pot....can be used on anything so boy did I have fun on their Christmas floor

Does anyone go to London at Xmas? I was considering taking a trip there to visit a few of the stores and soaking up the festive atmosphere in early December.

We go every year and I honestly don’t think there’s anywhere better at Christmas.

My absolute favourite thing to do is to get to Harrods for opening (10am) and head to the coffee bar in the food hall and have a coffee and mince pie (an annual treat because it’s not cheap ) and soak up the vibes, I always feel like I’m in a Christmas movie

A London shopping trip is always one of the highlights of my year but hotels are extortionate this year, i think I’ll have to give it a miss plus train-strikes. Bah humbug

We go every year too, mainly just to see the lights. I tend to avoid the shops as they get so busy and I hate walking around with bags of shopping. I prefer to shop online then soak up the atmosphere in Covent Garden, Regent Street, Carnaby Street etc. Their lights are magical
I avoid the weekend too, when possible.

Looking for opinions - last November I went through a really tragic bereavement, and i am really dreading November this year but I absolutely love Christmas. I would like to put my Christmas Decorations up early in November to cheer me up and act as a distraction. Do you think this is too early and / or insensitive?

I lost someone I love over Christmas and still find joy in the season. Do what you feel like, if it helps to alleviate your grief and bring some happiness then you should absolutely put your decorations up early. Everyone deals with grief differently so don't worry about others please.

I live in London, worked in one of the shops mentioned earlier, hated it so haven't been back since. Perhaps this year I'll give the West End a try again? But not the weekend. Never the weekend

I’ve just seen a Fatface advent calendar - 12 days of jewellery. All silver. £50. I love fatface and really like this! not that I can justify £50 on an advent calendar though…

We had that! My kids now keep their little bits and bobs in it. The chocolate were pretty good too.
