I said this on another thread, but it's worth repeating. I am now referring to any influencer or celeb who goes to Dubai as anti-LGBT and anti-women.

I cant bring myself to watch Celebs go Dating for the pure reason I dont want to give any of them any more viewers as I think the are all cretins and dont deserve the air time

So you’re against any culture that’s different to your own? If you want to be getting off with people in the street stick to Magaluf. The UAE is a Muslim country with its own customs. I can understand people not tolerating government opinion on LGBT+ but PDA? Really? 🙄

So how on earth do all the “influencers” get away with dressing like cheap porn stars, in public, getting wasted, acting like whores and that’s ok but people get arrested for holding hands with their partner.
The place is a joke.

You obviously haven’t been to Dubai. It isn’t common to see people walking around on the streets or malls dressed the way Chloe does for example. If she does that’s incredibly disrespectful and frowned upon. Influencers are mostly at the beach clubs, bars and clubs. These are the only places that sell alcohol and attract these sorts of people. That is the western glimpse of Dubai (rest of UAE is much more conservative). There have been extreme cases of people getting arrested in the past but that isn’t the norm and if you go you’ll see plenty of people holding hands or each other’s arms. It’s just about respect in actual public :)
