I am awful in social situations and nearly passed out with anxiety the first time I went to a toddler group.So tomorrow I’m going to my first ever mum & toddler playgroup thingI had my little boy about 3 weeks before first lockdown began so they were all closed, and he’s not in nursery. Tbh i am the shyest person ever and the thought of going to it gives me anxiety but my mum keeps badgering me saying I should take him to one, and it’d be good for me, and good for the baby, especially as he’s not in nursery so not around other babies, and I don’t know anyone where I live cos I’m not round here sooooo…… I’m giving it a go tomorrow I’m dreading it tbh. Feel like I’m gonna have a nervy B. I’m the most socially awkward person going

im quite shy like you, so I understand how you feel, I know it probably feels really daunting but I am sure once you get there and see Mini Melon having fun you’ll wonder what you ever worried about! Can’t wait to hear how it goes x
As you're walking through the door just think there'll probably be others newbies feeling exactly the same as you. I'm sure it will go well, the good thing is you can always make up an excuse and leave if you're really uncomfortable. So glad to hear it went well!!Hiya!! Im home!! The babies just conked out on me he was shatteredhe bloody loved it, I thought he’d be well shy but he just bounced through the doors, saw some cars and was like ‘CARS!’ Then just bailed round the place playing he played with a couple little ones and it was dead cute to see. He was buzzing I’m made up with him! I spoke to a few other Mums which was nice so I weren’t shy for long. I’m gonna go back next week I reckon, we both enjoyed it
