He can’t be overly thrilled at the start of the season
I think he is a few games away from sending in his CV and asking for a go in the manager's seat. He is livid!

I am awful in social situations and nearly passed out with anxiety the first time I went to a toddler group.

But it was fine, a bit weird, but fine. I ended up meeting my best mum friend at one of those groups.

You'll be fine.

Hi, hope everyone is good
God I forgot about Bake Off yesterday need to catch up. I'm watching MAFS now as my sister suggested that because I like Love Island I'd probably like this too so giving it a go.
Haha love that chair picture what someone posted. Definitely needed

Im sure it will be fine, you seem like a fab person so Im sure the other Mums will love you
im quite shy like you, so I understand how you feel, I know it probably feels really daunting but I am sure once you get there and see Mini Melon having fun you’ll wonder what you ever worried about! Can’t wait to hear how it goes x

aw thanks chicken
I know it is probs best for the baby to go and get him socialising with other kids but it’s soooo daunting!! I’m so nervous and shy around new people, especially as this group has been open since June so there’s Mums that already go and their all used to each other, they have a fb group that I joined and their all messaging like ‘can’t wait to see you tomorrow!’ So it’s a bit scary but as long as the baby has a good time and makes some friends I’m happy!

As you're walking through the door just think there'll probably be others newbies feeling exactly the same as you. I'm sure it will go well, the good thing is you can always make up an excuse and leave if you're really uncomfortable. Good luck

Hi guys

Feeling better now. Ropey earlier on but managed to do more than spend the day in bed.
We bought some fish my husband got 'gifted' a fish tank and accessories from a work client so we bought some fish for it today. Lying watching them and listening to the sound of the bubbles is literally the most soothing thing in the world

Yes I'm aware how sad that sounds

@watermelon sugar the first time i took Middle Jelly (of course it was him) to a toddler group he bit the organisers child in a fight over a Tomy Tiger toy and then threw a Toot Toot car in the face of another child. At biscuit and juice time he stole the kids beside him biscuits and would not hand them back. (He is not so violent now!) I burst into tears and spilled my drink in my hurry to leave but another mum stepped in and was nice to me and sorted it all out. Am sure your debut tomorrow cannot possibly be as bad as mine.

@watermelon sugar the first time I ever took little peaches to a baby group I lifted him out the pushchair and he’d had a massive poo explosion. I was like oh fucking hellllll why now. But I ended up going there for my whole maternity leave and I made some lovely friends who I’m still friends with now! I didn’t know anybody where I live either! The babies all used to fight over this bloody toy hammer It does feel daunting cos you don’t know anybody but I’m sure there will be some lovely mums and the baby will love it! And if it’s shit then at least you tried Good luck!!

@watermelon sugar mums and tots is daunting first time. I went with my 2 youngest and met ladies I'm still friends with. I'm not good socially either but I got so much support I was back there when my youngest was 2 weeks old! Remember you've already got something in common- your babies.
@ordinaryjelly hope you get good news soon

The wind outside woke me at 4.30am now Mr is up for work and I'm wide awake. He made me a tea in bed

Morning everyone
I’ve had a really bad sleep went to bed after having a bit of a cry last night and then my mind just wouldn’t switch off feels like such an inconvenience having work today I just wanna lay in bed and do nothing. I saw a tweet that said we should be allowed some “Cba” days at work and today would definitely be one of them!

Hope everyone has a good day x

@watermelon sugar Hope it goes well! I was lucky with groups, as my friends mum was a childminder so I went with her..Then my two of my friends had babies a few months after me, so we went together..Although I did feel like I was going to be judged as I was 20 and a single parent!

It will be great for Mini Melon though, they learn so much through being with other kids and hopefully you will meet new friends too..

I've already had a good cry this morning.
My housemate was on the phone to someone from 6pm until 4am and her bed is up against my wall so I could not sleep. I swear if she complains she's tired when she gets in from work I'm gonna have to refrain from smacking her.

I wish I could work again because I am sick of struggling to survive on UC. It's going to be even worse next month.

I feel like a pile of shite that’s been set on fire left out someone’s front door and stood on.

Yeah, it’s deffo not covid, as my stomach is hurting and I’ve got no cough or fever. I think I’ve caught a bug or a flu.

feel bad on me dog as I can’t even bring him out and I love our walks at night and he keeps looking at me as if to say “ma when’s walkies”

also good luck and hope u have a lovely time at the mammy and baby group x

Hiya!! Im home!! The babies just conked out on me he was shattered he bloody loved it, I thought he’d be well shy but he just bounced through the doors, saw some cars and was like ‘CARS!’ Then just bailed round the place playing he played with a couple little ones and it was dead cute to see. He was buzzing I’m made up with him! I spoke to a few other Mums which was nice so I weren’t shy for long. I’m gonna go back next week I reckon, we both enjoyed it
