What about spending time with your classmates outside of the classroom. Is that not part of the experience? Teenage girls choosing to do an overnight with their mam instead of with their friends doesn't ring true to me 🤔
I doubt they had the choice. She’s a selfish wagon those girls seem to have no lives outside of the home

Obviously Mam explained how much they’d save by going with her. They probably felt they had to miss out going with their school pals then.

I’d say the mam said the whole family could go for the price of just the girls going with the school so quilted them into not going!

As the owner of a 17 year old daughter I call bullshit. My daughter would much rather a trip with her peers and rightly so!

It’s odd
The craic kids have together on these trips! They mustn’t be comfortable with their peers?

Those types of trips are important for a child’s development. I know they can be expensive but it’s important for their socialising and also for their independence away from parents. To have the craic and create memories with their peers.

Somehow I don’t think they have the craic or even want to make memories with their peers. I’d say with them missing so much school they prob don’t have any friends from there.
I’d say their best pal is their ma!

There’s something not quite right there you can tell a lot from the photos and videos tbh

She needs to stop putting all the kids up on SM especially the teens it is not good for any cred they have with their peers 😬😬😬

I know there had been issues with bullying in the past, no idea if it was resolved but putting up a post about missing a school trip & going as a family to save money could cause them aggro back in school. Kids will find anything to pick on. Doing a school trip with your Ma could kickstart some endless teasing. Not everything needs sharing on social media. Mam seems to have a problem with putting money towards anything school related. The money she is saving from the free books scheme could go towards the little trips they take with their classes.

If its a dig at the school id have waited till they'd all finished. She's going to be dealing with the school for years. Its an odd comment to make either way.

I feel sorry for the girls. Their mum makes a show of them I think between the endless strange trips, buying them reduced adult clothes ( nothing wrong with the fact on sale it’s they are quite old for them imo), making them seem like they’re in a cult. I’d love to bring them out for a proper day out not a budget yellow sticker day.
No shade on budgeting etc it’s just octomum is a pain in the hole and screams tight with money.

“For a lot less” That was her priority. The money. Not that the girls deserve and need to be treated like their age. Or that there’s so much more to the trips than the educational factor. Oh none of that matters to this cow.
I get that trips are expensive but they are known about years in advance (my kid is in first year but I know he has two potential foreign trips in the coming 3 years) so you make sacrifices, you plan and make it happen.
She’d sooner spend the money on Lapland in July. Or the Aran islands in November.

I still remember going on my school tour and that was over 30 years ago so i made sure my son was able to go on his last year. Its a fantastic experience and a step into doing things themselves. She really doesnt make things easy for any of them. Whats gonna happen if they go to college and start having their own lives? None of them have done any sports or group activities they only seem to go on those trips. Do they mix with other people at all?

Or weekends away with her ghoul of a sister. Or road trips to America with her
