Because it was Christmas, there were lots of expensive gifts & many lovely homemade items, and just a bit of tat tossed in for good measure. Who doesn't need a visitors map of California Disneyland? I dare Fanny to put this damn, ugly yellow fish magnet up in her kitchen!

You don’t get an iv at a checkup. . He must have some valid reason to be at the hospital. The fact that he’s milking it is deplorable. Brain scan indicates neurological symptoms. Potentially dizziness, loss of balance, vision problems, numbness, vertigo. EKG also indicates similar. He could be dehydrated and having panic attacks due to withdrawl from medication or drugs or alcohol. He’s filtered that selfie. He probably looks like tit. But he’s had his hair done.

I’m going to guess hard night of partying, alcohol poisoning, and panic attack.

I was wondering if maybe he is epileptic and perhaps that is why he doesn't want to (or can't) get a drivers' license? If he is, perhaps a seizure has him hospitalized.

Selmar has another excruciatingly boring vlog with endless footage of the back of Diesel's head as they cycle to another church and then Tatyana reading very deliberately from another text. It was a lovely small, very old church but I just couldn't take any more of Tatyana's reading. I only watched parts to see if they mentioned their recent failed attempt at getting a chateau but in the bits I managed to look at, they didn't. He had Allegri's very beautiful Miserere as the music. Some comments asked for the name. In one answer he said "It are tracks from Elvato Elements". Later, he gave someone else another reply:

"It are music tracks from. (no name here!) They don't really have a name. Just female choir." !!!

It's always sung by a mixed choir although a lot of it is sung by a soprano. It's such a well-known and stunningly beautiful work, surely Selmar could have checked. I'm sure the choir must be delighted with such publicity. In the UK, it's often sung by The Sixteen, a London choir specialising in early music.

In the comments, someone said they would be in France in March and asked if S and T would be there and he said they probably would!

After that, I don't think I can bear to watch PJ giving us his wisdom on wine!

Sadly I have been in hospital a lot and I forbid anyone taking a photo of me there--
let alone one where I have centred my cannula right up front of the photo !!
I was hospitalized three times last year for over a week each time and because of covid no patients could have Any visitors!
It was hard going with no family support to help you talk to the doctors and make big decisions...he is just "sending it up " !

....

Poor Teabag - we all have our medical issues. I had a sebaceous cyst removed from my nether regions yesterday - you don't see me posting it on facebook.

I didn't think of that! You're right, I'm sure. I've just been trying to figure out why in the world he wouldn't want to drive and why his family is so amenable to driving him places that are hours away if it weren't a medical reason that kept him from getting a license....

Billy said that Michael took the driving test twice and failed both times. Billy then bought a car (Mercedes) to give Michael if he would just pass his test and get his license…an incentive…but Michael didn’t take him up on it. Now Billy’s trying to sell the car. So, I don’t think medical issues are the reason he doesn’t drive.

I may not be his biggest fan, but no one want to be hospitalized - especially these days!

I agree, but let's be honest: would he be posting a picture like that if it was all that serious? He doesn't care enough about his viewers normally to keep them updated about what's going on in his miserable life, so I can totally understand this sudden outburst makes many of us suspicious.

So long as he's ok. I'm kind of fond of a lot of you and I notice when someone is MIA.

Speaking of new material, there was a new cadeau today that I couldn't bring myself to finish!

Her cadeaux episodes are never new and always impossible to watch, so you haven't missed anything.

Don't know what Patricia O'Doherty is smoking - can't imagine that any local people would visit an open house at LaLande. Fanny isn't the Queen, although she may think she is! Fanny's now suggesting leaving her Christmas decorations up until at least February 6 (apparently like Queen Elizabeth), but perhaps even later until her father's birthday on February 23! This might explain why the Christmas kitchen garland decorations are still hanging up in Dan's vlogs.

I imagine him in Narnia wearing nothing but his baby blanket (a gift from a certain grandfather), locked up in a wardrobe only to be let out for nostalgic nights when we need to laugh AT someone (not to be mistaken for the more common urges when we laugh WITH someone).
