What testing is done for ADHD in adults? He seems to have been diagnosed and prescribed medication pretty quick... Do you just walk in to see you doctor and tell him you self diagnosed from a 'medical person' who popped up in your feed? Why had he popped up? Had he been googling symptoms previous to diagnosis.. IIt all seems too 'Michael' for me. If he does have ADHD then it really doesn't excuse his begging behaviours.

I am afraid I don't have any experience with ADHD in adults - many years experience with children diagnosed with neurodevelopment challenges (sometimes not diagnosed as parents have not wished to have their child "labelled" or who want to bury their heads in the sand - probably like Ma P.). First child I recall working with who had an ADHD diagnosis was a 5 yr old, when I was a student, in 1974. At that time, he wasn't prescribed Ritalin just Phenergan to help with sleep. I don't know what happened to him later.

This trip to Scotland with someone who is virtually a stranger, paying for it all, really shows how risky exposure on social media can be for someone as gullible and vulnerable as Marie is. Before going any further, I stress that we know very little about Iwa and she may be a decent, ethical person and may pose no risk at all. However, by exposing themselves by filming so many aspects of their lives to the public, people like Marie (and Selmar) put themselves at risk from stalkers and predators. Marie has shown herself to be weak and needy. She has talked about having being bullied and she often breaks down in tears. She has begged in public and viewers see that she is being supported financially and in other ways by other people. There is nothing to stop a wealthy individual, who may be lonely or predatory, stalking and contacting her under the pretence of wanting to learn how to arrange flowers. In other online scams, many people, usually women, have been taken in by non-wealthy individuals who establish online relationships with the vulnerable and then fleece them for money. Even SJ is taking a risk and, although PJ may not look like a predator, think how much she has already spent on him. However, rich SJ seems less vulnerable and is surrounded by other people, not that she, or Marie, or Selmar, would ever listen to advice from others. They are stubborn and always believe they are right. It is very easy for vulnerable and gullible people like Marie and Selmar to be taken in and trust people or believe that someone loves them. Even if Iwa is a perfectly ethical person, the situation is still extremely odd. The fact that someone would see Marie on YT and decide to fly from Hawaii to do a floral course in Yorkshire and then take M to Scotland to continue is very strange. It's not as if Marie is an internationally known expert, she is inexperienced and unknown. Where are they staying? It does look as if Iwa may have other reasons in mind. If Iwa is into women, she may have seen the clip of Marie and SJ wrapped in each other's arms, sleeping in the chateau kitchen. We, on Tattle, have been told by Clara that M had a boyfriend there at one time but I don't think it was in the vlogs. If I were Marie's mother or, indeed, Nikki, I would be very concerned about her. She may be over 30 but in reality, she is childlike and still incapable of standing on her own feet and she has shown that to the world. We can only hope that she is not at risk and that she learns to be more careful.

I am not worried for MArie. Looking at everything that can be found online on the Hawaaian artist/musician makes me feel that MArie is lucky to have met such an interesting person. But I may be wrong. And their stay in Scotland has a slight taste of a romantic getaway..., well we will see what's going to happen. Sometimes I feel sorry for all those people who lay their lives open deliberately for public scrutiny (at a profit, of course!)

My husband and I do LFT s every other day before visiting my 91 year old mum, as does my sister and mum's grown up grandchildren. We wear a mask while in the house with her. I am amazed that Fanny doesn't take the similar precautions with IJ and PA.

If he is on medication, then in France he could only obtain the medication after being diagnosed by a doctor. Good morning. Those who've been here for a while will know I've never been a fan of young Trotter. He has annoyed me no end, I have found it so irritating to watch him lie to himself and others, making excuses for himself, and putting out his begging bowl with great entitlement. I did not enjoy seeing him waste his chance in life one little bit and it also annoyed me that people paid for him to be a bum. So, you've never heard me say anything nice about the "boy" (another irritating thing, and adult man making excuses like a child, no responsibility for own actions). But, today is the day. I did watch his new vlog. He took some responsibility in a way, for the first time ever. Well, at least he owned up to his failings, and accepted that something wrong with him (ADHD) was at fault, not everyone else (including us haters here). I think he might be right. There may be other mental issues to address also,but ADHD seems very plausible and ties in with his behavioural patterns. Like other people here, I think he needs therapy too. When he looks back, he might find that all too depressing. He needs to resolve issues and move forwards. I hope he manages! I wish him well. And I feel people finally got a kind of "mea culpa" from him, he did thank those who'd stood by him when he's been a dick. Trotter boy has a clean slate with me now, I like the honesty and that he is finally doing something in the right direction. This I will follow with curiosity, and good luck to him.

I never liked him, never fell for his tit... and i won't go so far to say he has a clean slate with me.
But, I agree with the fact that in his own backwards way he owned up to some of his behaviour... (ADHD has nothing to do with taking money from people and pissing it off in Madrid, and then begging for more!)

We have said many times in the past that he has mental issues and needs to address them. Now he is doing just that (or pretending to do it.. that's why I take it with a grain of salt) But if he is in fact on Ritalin, you can be sure it wasn't prescribed lightly... at least here in Canada, you have to go through a whole lot of testing and talking before you get to the medication stage for any mental illness.

I'm still sitting on the fence, my bum getting a bit numb, but i will wait to see how it plays out to actually judge him on this one.

Ugggh! After some time has passed since he released his “Fresh Start” vlog, I now have the feeling I’ve been snookered again! Billy’s been saying that “Michael is filming” for at least a few weeks…but the vlog MPK released yesterday looked like it had been filmed in one day. MPK says he might release a video today showing some work on the cottage (?) but that’s always hit or miss. Michael admitted to using a filter on his “Fresh” vlog, so of course he looked better. He was self-deprecating, said he’s facing hardship (quitting smoking), and has a medical issue requiring medication…so he reeled everyone in once again…getting loads of sympathy. It’s just the same old song and dance. Even Billy was trolling Michael in the live premiere comments…he’s seen this play out time and again.
