The most ridiculous thing was when Amie says she is going to use her Mulberry tote for going to work after the pandemic. It's a very nice tote - the colour is gorgeous and the leather is beautiful (I'm not trying to take it away from the bag. I'd rather buy a Mulberry leather tote than an LV never full).

But the thing is...where is Amie going to work? She moved from London to Birmingham so obviously either her old job didn't require commuting or she found a new job that I'm not aware of. The company she runs with Dan hires engineers and soft ware developers not based in Europe so it's not a reason either. I'm seriously LMAO.

I don't get the ALUNNA bag. It's clearly a casual bag, yet it's so small. the opening is also awkward, very small. It reminds me of the mini backpacks some friends of mine used to have on high-school roadtrips. Useless, just for show.

I don't get SENREVE in general. It has a backpack lunchbox look into it. I mean it's not bad or anything, I just don't get it why it's so popular. It does have gorgeous colours though.

I'll help. wear and tear = "UEEE AND TEEE."
I hate the look of the Senreve bags. While their leathers may be of good quality and they have nice colours I wouldn’t touch any of their bags with a barge pole. Every bag is an ugly boxy looking bag. I haven’t seen a single person in London carrying that bag. Even influencers who have been gifted the bag rarely carry it around. Amie must be desperate for more sponsorship from them as she’s always mentioning them and continues to buy their bags. Probably the only influencer who has gone on to buy the bags.
If she is treating her handbag purchases as a business expense but still experiencing money shortages then that’s really telling of their true financial position. Bought a new house they cannot afford to furnish properly, stuck with flats they cannot sell due to fire remedial works needed before they can sell ..... things are not looking good.

it amazes me that someone with that many bags can’t even style the right sort of bag (style, colour, size)with their outfits. That should at least be the one thing she gets right
Thing is - money can’t buy style. I know people who buy RTW from LV, Fendi etc but end up looking like nothing, while there are those who are able to style their H&M dresses to look like Prada. Amie is clueless when it comes to styling, among other things. She thinks that throwing on a Chanel handbag and wearing heels automatically means she’ll look posh and polished when they just prove how the different items in her outfit don’t belong with each other and she ends up looking extremely silly. She doesn’t know what colours suit her, she doesn’t know what clothes to buy (given she’s still stuck in a 2015 bubble as someone mentioned), she doesn’t know how to pair things together, her make up is very harsh and ages her … she’s basically a fashion disaster! I’d be embarrassed to call myself an influencer if I were her. She shops a lot but so what?? You wouldn’t know if you were viewing her look book from 5 years ago or today. No one cares how many colours of pleated or biased cut skirts she has, or how many colours of OTS tops she has - they’re all irrelevant when she doesn’t know the basics of styling.

First time poster here. I followed Amie for a while and really liked the format of her videos as she seemed organized and informative. But for the past year or more, I’ve become increasingly annoyed by the posts and videos she uploads. Every video has the word Luxury in it and every video she talks about the same things with a slightly different angle. She doesn’t evolve her style or her content. I’m afraid her content has become stale for me. Within the last week she posted 4 of the same videos which is a tad nuts if you ask me... I rarely ever unfollow but I have sadly done so for Amie’s YouTube and IG.

This is crazy but I think Chase Amie uses cheap furniture from Ikea. She only uses expensive stuff when it is actually small - like expensive flowers and candles because those are the expensive stuff she can afford. Real good furniture are expensive - as are things like leather sofas and such. I bet if Amie had real money, her house wouldn't be look as cheap and tacky as it does. Right now it looks like an Ikea spread.

Someone here once described Amie’s hair as “lego hair” 😂 - very fitting indeed. I suspect Amie has a Pintrest shrine dedicated to the Duchess of Cambridge, though her hair looks natural despite being meticulously groomed, not like Amie’s which looks like packet ramen 🤭. And it does seem like Amie has found the “beautify” setting on her cameras lately- she’s been looking pretty blurry. That’s a Fail, Amie 👎

Sorry, but home decor with a luxury logo is just plain tacky. I can’t stand those Hermes blankets and don’t understand how anyone would purchase one! Maybe if your name starts with H? Nah, still tacky.

They should both be embarrassed. Dan is way under-dressed, even for a pub; it looks like he's off to grab a protein shake after the gym. Amie's sundress isn't bad in itself, but pairing it with the envelope bag and perspex shoes is just confusing. Like, is she going clubbing in ... someone's backyard?
These outfits do not go together at all. Putting up an instagram caption with him ensuring that these are his fancy shorts does not make you funny it makes him look like he does not even want to be there. Then again I would not want to be next to a piss poor curtain either. Can this woman not go and take one of those what kind of season are you and which colors will suit you best class? How can she not see that this is completely washing her out? With the yellow and white she gives off a very nice impression of an egg.

Her ridiculous shopping aside, I am really bothered by the fact that out of the 6-bedroom house they bought, she is taking up 3 of the bedrooms for herself! With a house that size, I would imagine her husband would at least get an office instead of working in the living room! I mean when they have kids, are they going to buy an even bigger house?! That is just mindboggling to me. I live in major cities where we do our best to maximise our space. Having a house that size when you don't have at least 7 children is ridiculous to me.

Let me guess... they go shopping at Louis Vuitton and Chanel (multiple locations), have high tea, and at some point, Amie drinks champagne and eats a burger.
You actually nailed everything except they went to Selfridges and not LV. Went to Hakkasan this time, but she did have champagne and a burger/sandwich. :ROFLMAO: Does she ever go anywhere without the intention of shopping?I'm so sad as I miss London (American here), and this is the only thing she does in the city ever since she moved.

Her style is getting old now.... Spray on jeans, camisole, toe cleavage court high heels and blazer, with a choice of three bags. DULL.

its December, aimee, my luv, you'd freeze your tits off in this outfit.
yes the spray on jeans are a crime, she doesn’t wear clothes that flatter - for someone who takes pride in her appearance she seems very afraid to dress in any way that’s remotely stylish or incorporating trends and has no sense of style, the fact that she obsessively buys those god awful YSL college and toy lulu bags which are the epitome of a bag being a bag just for the sake of sticking a designer logo on it says it all.

Obviously I don’t mean she should pick up every trend going because her seems conservative i- but you can be classic without looking like a frump. Even the ombré hair and weirdly mid wave no body hair is dated

if she was a YouTuber who specialised in gardening tips it wouldn’t matter - but her catagory is fashion!

I had too many glasses of red wine and this is what I feel. Influencers like Fleur, inthefrow, hellooctober, niomismart, Zoe etc really have never had a real 9-5 job that is demanding. Them putting up endless hauls and stupid silly half arse videos somehow makes sense (but not acceptable) coz their brains can’t comprehend what real good video content is and they don’t really get what an honest hard working person goes through. But when it comes to Amie she has actually put in the hard work and done pretty well at her job(The marketing 9-5 job that she was at). So it completely baffles me when a person who is well educated like her would resort to such cheap means of putting up such crude useless videos. Ad after Ad after Ad. I mean this girl knows what it means to be in the real world and she still just thinks she is somehow fooling others by putting up her stupid bag content.

All that business talk is just rubbish. She is just a greedy bitch that everyone sees through. It’s such a pity that having had the experience of both working and influencer worlds she resorts to such shameless tactics.

It shows how basic and easily led they are. If anyone cared about interiors or if a certain style of interior important they would look for a property which had original panelling features, adding them to a basic new build almost never looks right and looks cheap and ugly. She is a follower and will never show something original or with a new spin on it. It’s why she’ll always just be a woman with money and a camera to film herself, not an influencer.

I just find the house choice odd given her disposable income and fortune she’s spent on designer items - she doesn’t have the luxe interiors/home to go with it. Where is the bespoke fitted walk in wardrobe? She’s just added IKEA shelves up what would be another box room in the standard home. People like her and Tamara are so weird to me, their spending compared to their homes just don’t add up

Amie only knows one style of clothing, one way of doing her hair, one topic for her videos (ie luxury buys that stand the test of time), one facial expression......i just switch off.

I watched the first few minutes of her “What I Got For My Birthday” video , and can I just say…. “Feminist books”. Uh huh. Because she’s so into feminism! And reading. Books are just the coolest thing. And friends. She had lots of them! Give me a freaking break. She doesn’t even say who the creative director of Dior is, just that she’s a woman (a FEMINIST woman, I’ll bet!). Oh, and the book is heavy! Wow.

One thing that struck me in the video was that she has so many boots on her wall of shoes, but I don’t think she’s ever worn them with skirts or dresses. I can only picture her wearing basic over-the-knee boots with spray-on jeans. And now that I’ve said that, cue her wearing boots with a skirt in three, two, one…

She said it was sponsored by Farfetch I bet most of it was paid for by the voucher they gave her but still it is nuts , she just bought a few other new bags, why does she need more!!??
Her materialism is gross. Even if I had the *burden* of regular shopping vouchers, I'd probably get bored of it after a while and would just want to slow down and enjoy the things I have instead of constantly adding more, more, more. And if I had to choose, I'd blow it on something truly extraordinary or luxurious, not a bunch of cheap polyester skirts and camis. Isn't that what Farfetch is for? So that you can get your hands on a hard-to-find item that's out of stock everywhere except for a boutique in Saudi Arabia? I dunno. The world of fashion is literally at her fingertips and all she can manage to come up with are basic-ass pumps that look like they're from Ann Taylor.

Holding up (yet another) powder pink bag...in front of the Costco store front?

Have the standards for content fallen so low?
Her and those awful Sanreve bags again. How many do they send her? I watched an Emma Anders review of their popular bag, and she was surprisingly fair and honest about it. They do seem to be of very high quality, but the main problem is the design tries to be too many things so it doesn't succeed at any of them. Not to mention: SO UGLY. It's just like Amie: trying to be luxurious but managing to look cheap.

I watch her videos regularly because we have quite similar styles and I do enjoy a lot of her finds, but find her incredibly grating.

It’s the same few phrases in every video ‘how beautiful is this?’, ‘easy breezy’, and calling everything a piece. My all time favourite was suggesting people get some smoothing ‘underwear pieces’ to go under a dress. I do like the looks she pulls together, but she has zero vocabulary or insight to go with them.

I see no evidence of any hobbies, friends or interests, just endless spending on endless pink bags, and (pre-lockdown) trips abroad to do yet more shopping. She’s a very frustrating watch!
