She looks silly. People wearing multiple Chanel bags at the same time base it on all bags being in the same shade ie black and of varying sizes from micro to medium so they look really chic. She tries so hard but ends up looking silly. She’s probably doing her yearly (churned) review of her Chanel bags. She’ll prob lose more followers from this as they must realise she preaches the same old shit every time.
Skinny sprayed on mid wash jeans and Chanel classic flaps for the sake of having them with no genuine love or care for the brand - cheugy personified

she’s even wearing her hair straight on the boat pics! (we see you Amie 👀)

honestly though her straight hair looks far better than that stupid ramen style she keeps insisting on wearing!

Her videos are a snooze fest as the contents are constantly recycled. I don’t know how she can call herself an influencer of any sort as she lacks creativity and passion; her style is also dated. She’s irrelevant.
Couldn't agree more, I first came across her about four years ago and her style hasn't evolved at all. Same bags, same shoes, same old tat from the Nordstrom sale.

I noticed it too. Her pronunciation of certain words was also a tad different ....

Epic fail. Just because the description says eco friendly... tsk tsk. This proves she doesn’t understand the meaning of the word sustainability. How embarrassing.

This reminded me of Amie given how desperate she is to show off her ‘luxe’ life
this is hilarious and reminds me of something someone posted here earlier about seeing Dan and Amie on a domestic flight in Europe- Amie decked out in labelled clothing/accessories and Dan appearing like “her poor relative” in contrast 🤣🤣

How did she not know her expensive chloe tote had a leather patch on the bottom? Does she not look the bags over when she gets them? Same with her not realizing one of her mini bags had a mirror inside. One thing if you are buying something cheap off of Amazon or Ali express and find something that wasn't in the photos but like for such an expensive bag I'd want to know everything about it

Amie’s spent at least £30k on Chanel bags alone, that alone is mind blowing and as all other IGers have been out for meals and drinks with friends as Britain gets back to normality, Amie’s page is (not surprisingly) empty. No friends, no life and no money to spend with a high likelihood that she’s eating extra value (bargain) meals from supermarkets - all for the sake of bankrolling future Chanel purchases. It’s pathetic, not to mention the need to buy followers via another giveaway to keep herself relevant. I think she’s the only IGer to have giveaways every 3-4 months. We all know why.

She’s clearly out of ideas so what will she do going forward do you think...... she can only repeat something so many times before people get bored and move on.
How many times have we seen her say a bag is her favourite - only for her to sell it later? I can think of the Chloe Drew, Gucci Marmont, Gucci Disco, Chanel Boy, Chanel Deuville tote off the top of my head. This is a woman who is not super rich who had more than 100 high end bags (she had 79 in a video but she already sold numerous bags at that point). She is crazy.

Also - I hate to say it but Amie is so dressed up even WFH. The pandemic has changed formal dressing. I mean even celebrities and Hollywood stars are dressing down for Zoom calls, often appearing in sweat shirts and T shirts for virtual awards like the BAFTA and Golden Globes. And more than one woman showed up at the Oscars with no makeup and sneakers. And here Amie is all dressed up (makeup, heels, gowns) and no where to go. Lmao.

Is she kidding with this outfit? The Valentino belt which is the 2020/21 version of the overdone Marmont belt paired with a logo zucca fendi bag - so overdone, unstylish, frumpy, cheugy etc etc

And these midi length pleated home on the range skirts she wears in every colour 🤢🤢 she has to be one of the most unstylish fashion/designer haul YTubers.

the conservative middle aged, middle class Karen (what’s the middle class equivalent? Sharon?) style is just awful
And to think she went to the cinema AND Nandos dressed like that, complete with the plastic perspex heels!!! :ROFLMAO:

She must stick out like a sore thumb in suburban Birmingham walking round Tesco like some celebrity.
Surely buying bags at this rate means nothing is special? You’re probably never satisfied or happy with a new purchase?

I’ve been following this vlogger off and on, and she’s very sensible! What she says is so true (I) shopping all the time is unsustainable unless you’re a Kardashian and (ii) no one really cares about what you wear. Amie could learn a thing or two from this elegant lady.

I have been a fan of Eileen ever since she started. She never sounds condescending but emphasizes why certain things don’t work for her and her lifestyle. She also looks so elegant with her minimal outfits and curated bag collection as opposed to 70+ blush pink bags. Props to her for thinking of new content without resorting to a haul every week.

The problem with Amie’s business model is she’s set herself up as someone who loves luxe items. But who’s the the target market?!
The super rich who can afford the goods she’s flogging (and who’d make her heaps of money from clicking on links) don’t need to listen to a wannabe telling them what’s in or out. They just rock up to a shop and buy on the spot.
We then come to the middle class women. They’d love to own another luxe bag but they are sensible and prioritise more important wants like family, holidays, time with friends. They may buy a bag or two a year but nothing which would really help Amie rake in the £££ from online clicks. They would also probably buy in store as they can see and feel the items, plus it’s a nice experience, so it’s no to online clicks for high priced items.
And then you have the majority of her followers who are, I suspect, the average and lower earners. They use her page as a bit of an escapism - nothing wrong with that - but there’s a limit to how much they can buy. They admire her ‘fashion’ and bags but that’s it. Some will purchase through her discount codes but I don’t expect there will be many as £200 is still too much to pay for a belt.
So therein lies the flaw with her model. Showing off pics of luxe items is fine for fun but it doesn’t work when you do it as a FT job and expect it to earn money. The people she’d love to click on her links don’t need her or don’t want to buy the items online. Most will watch her videos but that’s it. Very few will go on to purchase. Plus she’s not the only one promoting luxe items. There are thousands out there who talk about Chanel, Hermes bags and they don’t even do it for money ie arilovesfashionx, sophiecurates, emmaandersbags etc and they’re certainly enjoying themselves more than Amie. But it may be that there’s no pressure for their videos or pictures to be successful whereas every video is pay check for Amie however big (I doubt it) or small. Amie is a very small fish in a very big pond. I honestly struggle to understand how/why she thought being a luxe influencer was worth giving up her proper job for.

I think you can wear fancy bags anywhere and 5 guys is one of my faves but her overly fancy outfits just make her stick out and stuck up. She does not have that old money look, she just looks like she is trying to hard.
This! She just looks like she's trying too hard and if she likes that look that is fine. But I feel like her and Inthefrow focus so much on all the expensive shit they have and wearing it all at the same time they don't realize they look bad. Wear what you want where you want. Def don't need to change out your bag just bc you are getting fast food, but also don't feel like you need to dress up to match your expensive bag for 5 Guys burgers. Inthefrow wore heels and a pencil skirt to the outlets. It is like their status anxiety is so bad they can't go anywhere without letting everyone know they have enough disposable cash to buy expensive stuff.

It's almost comical how her recent vlog is her direct response to this thread :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Oh wow, she didn’t do her ridiculous eyebrows 😱 tbh she doesn’t look that bad without foundation and eyeshadow, only with mascara and eyeliner, she looks normal, human I would say.
But the video is sooo boring and pathetic and the way she speaks when she interacts with Dan and how fake she is when he tries on the clothes 🤦🏼‍♀️
and the burgers eating out, I wouldn’t film and include that non sense discussion they had. Sooo boring and forced. Waste of time and even couldn’t laugh too much, it was more a feeling of embarrassment for her.

These outfits are so unstylish and unflattering, she’s not big but she doesn’t dress to suit her shape - what is this pencil skirt? Looks too small. And that cheap skinny belt really is the cherry on the frump cake. why wear a black cheap looking Bardot t shirt top with a pale blue/ white gingham summer skirt?? And the shoes look ill fitting and don’t really match

There’s definitely something not right with her. She’s not even had the chance to use the Deauville tote that Dan bought her plus the blue Chanel bags and she’s bought another bag.... and we know she struggles for money ie she can’t afford decent wardrobes! She can’t seem to do Instagram posts without newly acquired lux purchases when the world would have a lot more respect for how one styles existing items differently. She’s not an influencer, she’s someone with a very public and serious shopping addiction. I just don’t see people looking up to or admiring a mug like her.
So true, she’s not an influencer at all, she’s just someone with a shopping problem, disposal income and basic taste. She’s like the post child for people who says they’re ‘into fashion’ who don’t really care about items or brand history but just about buying the most basic items like the same louboutin shoes or same old Chanel flap bags

What does it say about a person who buys many similar looking luxury Chanel Bags and at the same time advertise a very dodgy website that sells fake bags? Also she is someone who splurges $$$$$$ on a bizarre looking house which is actually not worth that much money! On top of this she and Dan own a company that actually gives people a monthly pay check. That can’t be cheap because she clearly said that she and Dan know nothing about creative website designing (that’s what her company does)and I work in the software/IT/tech field and know for a fact that the pay is really good. How does she afford all of this ?!?! And still be stupid enough to make bad investments and advertise shady stuff????!!! She just comes across as someone who has absolutely no class and very shady too. And her try hard posh accent and hoarding luxury stuff just shows she is so badly trying to show the world something she clearly isnt. Guess she will do absolutely anything for $$$. Amie is so off putting!!

I know a rich lady who buys luxury items - but she only buys them twice a year - her birthday and Christmas, as presents for herself. And she buys 1 item each time - like one Chanel bag, one LV scarf, 1 Gucci belt. That's it. Of course over the 10+ years, she's collected a fine collection but you don't get the impression she has a shopping addiction. Luxury items are like the cherry on top of her cake (she has a nice beautiful house, she spends money on gourmet foods and travels around the world, and her children and pets).

I know a lot of people like luxury items and it's understandable if you have the money. But I don't get the impression that Amie is that level of wealth. She scrimps on housing decor, travel (even before the pandemic - she only went to the USA to shop, visit relatives, or freebies from hotels) and everything else. She suffers for fashion and looking good on social media. She has issues.

If you want to live the life of luxury like the Kardashians, maybe you should make some real and honest money first.

She recommends the most ridiculous winter dresses for "festive season". It's freaking freezing - who wears the flimsy skirts she recommends unless you live in Hawaii or Australia? Most of her audience is from UK and USA where it is freaking freezing - even in California during December. I was once in California in December and it was 0 degrees celsius. I was shivering in my winter puffer coat.

I don't know about you but in the holidays at home (no where to go this year), I wear nice comfy stretchy leggings and a nice sweater over it.

Never trust Amie's bag recommendations. She sells all her bags eventually except Chanel flaps and LV totes.

According to Amie, her husband Dan is good at carpentry and constructed the pergola-type structure in their wedding. I assume Amie and Dan bought this house as a fixer-upper and will remodel, fix the defects and finally flip it for much more $$$. Dan knocked down a wall to make Amie's walk-in closet in one of their old apartments, I'm willing to bet that he'll knock down some walls in this house too.

If your work schedules and marriage can take the pressure of renovation, you should definitely upgrade your house yourself.
What?! The house they bought it not remotely a fixer upper, it has clearly just been renovated by a developer.
