Her entire persona seems to be based around how much she hates her fans/fame. She's only been famous for 5 minutes, she could easily leave the spotlight if she hates it so much.
Some people are absolutely not cut out for the fame, she does appear to be one of them. Even some emergency PR isn't going to cut it here.

If she's done this once, there will be a load of other stories about her acting like an absolute walloper hitting the media all week long.

The parts of her job she doesn’t like are not fundamental to her role. She’s a performer and makes music, she doesn’t need to be nice to paparazzi or accept stalking
She also has the choice to not do red carpets at events like Olivia's

In a statement shared with Brazil’s showbiz columnist Leo Dias, the hotel said it could not comment on specific incidents involving guests due to strict privacy policies.

However, it added that: 'Statements from Jorginho and his wife make it clear that the hotel is not involved in the situation involving the singer.'

💣.............🎤 drop

Edit: So much for it's not her security. You're not going to tell me that an LA based singer just casually got paired with a former Kardashian bodyguard at a hotel in Sao Paulo

I know that fans don't do a deep dive because they are biased but hot damn honey, she didn't have to sweep anything under the rug if she just got off her high horse, met up with the kid, gave her a hug, a shirt an an autograph. But instead she stayed on that high horse, rode into the sunset claiming that she doesn't play around her breakfast and didn't know her security

I mean her anger may well be valid but why is she doing this out in the open at some event? What is she hoping this will change?

photographers being nicer to her doesn’t mean that they’ll be nicer to all the celebrities they photograph. She’s not changing the industry or the expectations here

One of these people will get doxxed one day by her fans and the whole thing will end in a shit show and we will be having a conversation about how she has basically enabled her fan’s behaviour as well

Personally, anyone demanding that the lessers don't look them in the eye is automatically the sort of person who loses my respect. Not that I had any for Chappie, or Jlo and the rest.

Mike Myers is one of those, he demands to be recognized but then throws a tantrum when that happens. He wants both bowing and scraping and to be ignored, which seems to be the standard with these kind of assholes. Mike certainly lost all my fandom with his behavior.

I’ve actually done both. If we’re talking about people without capacity in a healthcare setting then that completely different. There are usually policies and markers for what is tolerated though in both healthcare and customer service positions. You can simply hang up or choose to not serve someone in customer service if they’re being outright rude/aggressive to you after you’ve given them warnings and you will usually have the backing of your company when doing so.
I’ve had years of experience in customer service and also as a carer and apart from when you’re talking about people with dementia calling you fat, you’re really not expected to just tolerate people being that rude to you. Also it isn’t something you’re expected to take 24/7, if she’s being followed by paps etc outside of her work setting (the red carpet) then I can imagine that frustration builds up. No one ever followed me home from work or broke laws to take photos/listen to my private conversations.
Man, we live in different worlds. I can't refuse to serve a customer or a patient, I'll be fired. I've absolutely been followed home by angry customers. I've been hit, spat on, called names, punched, cursed, and threatened. And I'm not paid nearly as well as this woman is. She's becoming a professional victim and it's exhausting. I've been a fan of her for literally probably five years and I'm pretty much done at this point.

That’s why the stuff being said about her queer drag persona thing being a fake marketing strategy makes sense 💡

She does give off bitchy entitled rich girl vibes.

I feel like this is a case of just because it’s always been that way, doesn’t mean it always has to be that way and I don’t blame her for trying to make her boundaries clear as early on as possible. I am interested to see where this goes though, as she’s the first person to blow up like this without playing along. If she can still make it without the paps and media on her side then that’s a huge credit to her.

I believe she does have bipolar too so I can imagine blowing up this quickly isn’t doing great things for her mental health.

This chick is getting on my last nerve. First off, I'm not in her demographic. I wouldn't be able to ID her music, but I know what she looks like. What I do know is that she has been doing this music lark since she was kid, auditioned for America's Got Talent, has had record deals, publishing deals, left Missouri for L.A. for her career. She has made it essentially and now says fame sucks. What did you think was going to happen? Granted you barely know your arse from a hole in the ground at 26, but she is hardly a naive teenager. Life is a series of trade offs. People are barely making a living, there are people being massacred and you have this kid bitching about success Poor you!

This situation reminds me of when George Michael was bitching about fame back in 1990 to the L.A. Times. Frank Sinatra famously wrote a reply to the article, noting the lack of gratitude for his fortune and noting that it isn't forever. There is aways someone more talented, prettier and younger to take your place.

Dear Friends,

When I saw your Calendar cover today about George Michael, “the reluctant pop star,” my first reaction was he should thank the good Lord every morning when he wakes up to have all that he has. And that’ll make two of us thanking God every morning for all that we have.

I don’t understand a guy who lives “in hopes of reducing the strain of his celebrity status.” Here’s a kid who “wanted to be a pop star since I was about 7 years old.” And now that he’s a smash performer and songwriter at 27 he wants to quit doing what tons of gifted youngsters all over the world would shoot grandma for — just one crack at what he’s complaining about.

Come on, George. Loosen up. Swing, man, Dust off those gossamer wings and fly yourself to the moon of your choice and be grateful to carry the baggage we’ve all had to carry since those lean nights of sleeping on buses and helping the driver unload the instruments.

And no more of that talk about “the tragedy of fame.” The tragedy of fame is when no one shows up and you’re singing to the cleaning lady in some empty joint that hasn’t seen a paying customer since Saint Swithin’s day. And you’re nowhere near that; you’re top dog on the top rung of a tall ladder called Stardom, which in Latin means thanks-to-the-fans who were there when it was lonely.

Talent must not be wasted. Those who have it — and you obviously do or today’s Calendar cover article would have been about Rudy Vallee — those who have talent must hug it, embrace it, nurture it and share it lest it be taken away from you as fast as it was loaned to you.

Trust me. I’ve been there.
Wise words from Frank there

This was the clip that really made me dislike her. She’s having a go at this photographer, but it’s the way she does it, literally wagging her finger at him, being smug, condescending, and smiling sarcastically.

(I worked in retail for years and she reminds of the worst kind of difficult customer. The kind of people who seem to relish the opportunity to talk down to someone who is not in a position to defend themselves.)

Sorry if already posted, but old vid where she points at someone and gets security to start shouting at them. Can't be nice being videoed going through an airport but fame comes with downsides. I'm sure Sydney airport has a VIP option that you can pay for if you're really important enough

I was like 😬 earlier reading all the comments from people who had booked flights and accommodation and now can't get a refund because the cancelled dates are only a few days away.
And coming so soon after the discourse around her Tiktoks and Insta post about stans overstepping boundaries and how she doesn't owe them shit. She's right about that, but I wonder if people are starting to getting sick of her already. Maybe she blew up too big too quickly.
I do love Good Luck, Babe!, and her album is pretty good too.

Comes with the territory. Feck off back to obscurity if it bothers you so much. She's not exactly being hounded like Britney Spears or One Direction! 🙄
