She's furious now that scientists and researchers, who have no doubt worked years, have developed a treatment that could help those with achondroplasia. Sorry am I missing something here?
Someone's commented, of course agreeing, that it's blatant ableism and people with disabilities don't need 'fixing'. I'm SO confused. So, if a doctor offered you a treatment that could improve your quality of life or assist with a condition which affects you every day you're supposed to be incensed and reject it?
