My thing is, let kids be kids as long as they physically can be. My oldest is almost 11 and she’s started using her spending money on skin care and stuff like all her friends. It goes SO quick. It honestly does. Just enjoy them whilsy they are little. If my 10 year old would play with barbie dolla still I would love that.
Also teeth brushing is basic hygiene. My kids don’t always want to do it, but they are told to. Every morning and evening. I refuse to leave for school if they don’t brush their teeth

My kids used to hate doing there teeth and sometimes just do the front ones quickly to try and trick me. But I am guessing hers go to bed most nights without her even trying. To busy going to the sunbed, nail shop, being a doctor
and dragging them to car parks in the middle of the night. Parenting is hard and I hate parent shaming but with her she should be ashamed.I think in general teeth brushing isn’t on a child’s jobs of things that they like doing. Same with hair brushing. Just has to be done for any decent parent
