I've been following the story also. I'm an aesthetics practitioner but don't do Botox anymore as it's hard to co-ordinate a client and prescriber at the same time which all this who carry out Botox treatments PROPERLY should be doing!!!.When I did my filler training, (not a 1 day course) I also alongside it,carried out a complications and emergencies course. I'm not medically trained but I know how to spot and dissolve a vascular occlusion. I was trained by someone who has years of injecting experience and has also been on an actual teaching course so I'm 100% confident when it comes to injecting. The industry definitely needs to be regulated so that those teaching are actually qualified to teach and have enough experience themselves but I'm shocked at the amount of "training schools" popping up where those teaching these treatments have only been injecting themselves for 18 months or so!!!@essexbrowfairy on insta has had an awful time due to having a vascular reaction to fillers injected by some practitioner. She nearly lost her nose ! And the girl who did it had minimal training..... she’s calling for regulation in the aesthetic ndustry and proper thorough training ( rather than a 1 day course) so these people who suddenly become qualified to administer actually know what they are doing. It’s frightening to see her stories but makes you wonder about CA and her Botox/filler business. Is she Licenced and insured?
