All this made me want to watch Calamity Jane again today. Within about 30 seconds of Doris Day being on screen it was blatantly obvious why Crabbie getting this role is an absolute insult.
I’d have really liked to go to the show, but I just can’t bring myself to pay to see Crabbie and sit with the sycophants.

I guess, at least taking her on tour with an actual production is *somewhat* better than taking her on Carrie's concert tour because if something really did go wrong and Mabel needed medical attention or something, they can send the alternate on and no harm done.

But otherwise, it just seems like a really horrendous idea. They've been so needlessly anal about needing her in a routine at a young age, when at this point in her development, it largely doesn't matter, especially when you've got one parent not working and both having the flexibility of not needing to be up in the mornings. But it will matter more the older she gets, and they're planning on Carrie just dragging her around the country for nine months and leaving her with whoever. I'm no fan of Joel's, but surely she'd be better off at home in her own bed, with Dad there most of the time and maybe the grandparents or a regular nanny/babysitter in the evenings when he's at work. Hell, as expensive as childcare is, they've got the money. They could comfortably afford to put her in nursery a couple of days a week, and then she's at least getting in some engagement and socialisation with other kids. Don't think there's much chance of that when she's off on tour with Mumma. It's giving me Colleen Ballinger vibes, ngl.

Honestly, I'm surprised Joel is cool with this given how much time he's going to miss out on with his daughter. If he's already feeling like he's struggled to bond with her, this can only make it worse. I'm sorry, but if you don't feel comfortable leaving your child home with your husband, who's also their father, that's a massive red flag...not that those have ever bothered Carrie.
Joel was really just a sperm donor at this point. Carrie seems to think Mabel is just HER baby, and not THEIR baby. She honestly should’ve just gone to a sperm clinic or something. Their whole marriage makes no sense,

It's honestly an absolute shame the role went to Carrie when so many performers could have done Doris justice. You don't have to give the same performance, but the least you could do is match her energy. Wtf have they got Carrie for, a non-dancing chubby one tone frump who is about as charming as C.Diff?

Joel is probably happy that he has been free of Carrie and Minotaur for so long. Now he has more time to get close to TOM MCFLY!!!!!! and go swimming with TOM FROM MCFLY'S FATHER!!!!! five times a week (although I'm convinced that the swimming dates with Carrie's father only happen in Joel's imagination).

The person who put the ‘eurgh’ comment…am not gonna link directly to her thread as I don’t know if she wants to be exposed, but when someone asked why, she said that Carrie “directly came for (her) on the internet” then blocked her.

Interesting. I wonder which incident she’s referring to, if it was public?

Why would you shorten it to "Calam" and not "Calamity", if you must shorten it.

Stupid annoying bint.

She must have done a proper number on the producers, to convince them her bought followers are meaningful and worth putting up with all the hassle that having a baby around all the theatres, baby-compatible transport, baby-compatible digs, a nanny or child minder, and random disappearances when Maybe Baby is sick, are all worthwhile. Rather than just hire any number of other actors or fresh graduates that won't come with any of that baby baggage. Or as I said earlier she's agreed to do it for next to nothing.

Oh well I guess they will have to learn the lesson that Mackintosh and Lloyd-Webber learned about how engaged her followers are, the hard way.

Carrie blocks literally anyone that slightly disagrees with her but if they’re upset about it, it probably means they at least used to be a fan 🤔

Carrie moaning again on TikTok about how nobody informed her of postpartum recovery and that she was sent home being told only to take paracetamol 🙄

If only she had a family member who’s squeezed out 3 kids to talk to or even did some of her own research into it instead of buying into hypno crap and magic candles. Also, didn’t she have a super awesome midwife that she never shut up about that she could’ve got information or advice from?

She also simply could have asked, I'm sure her midwife or the staff at hospital would have been happy to answer her questions

Once again Crabbie. You've got a direct line to one of the most well known mummy bloggers in the country. Access to your own mum. Access to Joel's mum. And you told us that you had the most amazing midwife ever ever ever. Maybe talk to one of them instead of tiktok?

Carrie doesn't do anything off her own back, ever. Take the initiative to get dance lessons? Piano lessons? Nnnnope. Of course she expected to be treated like royalty and "the help" should've personally read her the relevant chapters in books.

Bloody hell her forehead gets bigger with each video 😱
She should also stop doing that exaggerated eyebrow movement; the creases in her forehead are starting to resemble foreskin. 🙃 Well, it's probably too late now. Her wrinkles look pretty permanent- god.. she’s hideously common/ugly looking.

not to defend John but they’re compression socks, used quite often by runners to increase blood flow in your legs. God knows why he’s wearing them unless he’s taken up running…?
Probably needed after all the time he spends dancing on stage… and not to forget, he may have been swimming with Bob 🤭

I bet Danny with a camera will be Mabel’s nanny

I’ve not watched this with sound because I respect my ears but I also had an assisted delivery with the ventouse so had stitches, and they sent me home with the strong pain (when I was in hospital they asked if I needed anything stronger than paracetamol and I said yes because I’m not a moron) like if you’re in pain and paracetamol isn’t cutting it SAY SOMETHING. They also told me I could team it with paracetamol/ibuprofen to help!

I don’t know why I’m surprised at this nonsense from her as this is the gal who couldn’t cope when she wasn’t told to drink her drink for the glucose test and couldn’t be arsed to buy a bath thermometer for her baby.

I have no kids, know nothing about pregnancy or ever want to. But even I could have told her that having anywhere around your vag tear is probably going to hurt.
