the stuff about them not seeing each other makes me think that they think every other couple gets weekends together. newsflash they don’t; me and my bf live in different cities, i work a mon-fri office job and he works shifts, and his shift pattern means he always does 25 hour shifts over the weekends. so when does that leave us time to visit? this isn’t me wallowing in self pity, it’s me hoping that if carrie reads here she get a a knock on the head and realises that not everyone who doesn’t work in theatre has a standard shift pattern to be able to do whatever they want evenings/weekends. also, if you haven’t spent any time together, maybe not the best idea to get engaged 5 months in?
The dress she’s wearing in the reel looks slightly more “polished” (just looking at the feathered bits on the shoulders) and the horns look bigger and more Maleficent style. Think it's all available on their website - I went a few weeks ago with a friend to the diner cafe specifically and I like to know what I'm ordering ahead of time! The food was....just about ok. Its very basic and clearly not cooked fresh. I had a burger; it was just about passable but for 19 quid I wasn't exactly delighted. It's completely standard diner fare, but it is not *good* diner fare. You go for the experience - the staff bursting into song. The girls were brilliant, the boys less so.
