Yeah, it's not a bad idea to bust beauty myths (personally I don't like the feel of silicones on hair or skin, but I don't think they're "toxic"), but to have it sponsored by a manufacturer of silicones is rather odd.It is an interesting read - I don't understand why it's sponsored though, her other myth busters aren't.
I have logged in to say the same. I was going to ask if anyone else thought from her recent Inststories that she had had (more) Botox. Her forehead wasn’t moving. She has a filter on her stories or she has the skin of a 20 year old .
Stop pretending your skincare is doing all of that when it’s without the filter .
More Botox, of course not, it's all down to products don't ya knowI have logged in to say the same. I was going to ask if anyone else thought from her recent Inststories that she had had (more) Botox. Her forehead wasn’t moving.
Me too. Dermologica have been available to buy to non-professionals for way longer than 15 years! She’s so full of titThank goodness for Mama Hirons checking in on facialists everywhere like a self-appointed union rep (paid by the employer).
What she said there was a lie about it being professional-only back in the early days of the blog. I was buying their products off and on 15+ years ago*. She thinks we’re stupid.
* sounding like Sali Hughes there.
A load of smug looking white woman, where’s the diversity?“aesthetician and skincare expert”
I’m sorry what? Expert how...
no offence intended to people who work on make up or skincare counters but it’s not some sort of doctorate.
This is like when Alison Young on qvc touts herself as a “qualified beauty expert” but never determines the qualifications.
Also how can the woman from Harrods be an expert in all those areas“aesthetician and skincare expert”

Especially when Alison says you must use different products on your neck, "anti aging" and that skincare products must be used within a strict age frame. Guess selling any and every product going makes on an "expert". OT but I also hate how they only demonstrate skincare on women.... even the men's skincare (cause apparently men need different grey/blue packaged same products) is demonstrated on the model or sales person's arm. QVC's skincare "experts" can be so dated at times.“aesthetician and skincare expert”

Nothing has changed!Caroline used to do QVC shows for Emma Hardie back in the early blog days. She came off as very abrasive.
I was coming here to say the same.A load of smug looking white woman, where’s the diversity?
This. If the achievement is flogging expensive skincare....Achiever Award that sounds like an award given to a sales team member when they’ve made their first 10 insurance sales.
