They aren’t dermatologists. They’re pharmacists that have taken an interest in dermatology and have had some training by dermatologists. But they don’t say how much training.
Well this I did not know! Their marketing certainly leads you to believe you receive a dermatologist consultation. Interesting. Thank you!

The irony of that post saying "check your sources, check your bias" then recommending CH is blowing my mind a bit. It's too early for this tit.
Yeah - also the bit about ‘playing doctor’ caught my eye too!

I’m the same. I thought they were derms, so I did a bit of reading into it and felt thoroughly misled!

I’ve been using it since April, started on 0.025% for the first month and 0.05% since then. I use the same cleansers as before (Body Shop Camomile cleanser followed by Beauty Pie double phase) but have to be a bit more gentle with the flannel, and I use the Emma Hardie balm cleanser 1-2x a week for a bit more oil. I then use a mist, let that sink in, then the tret, and then after 30 minutes I use a facial oil or The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors (I think that’s the name? The one that’s just a normal moisturiser and no other ‘stuff’).

I’ve had a few patches of peeling but nothing too bad, but my skin definitely needs these richer moisturisers than I was using before. It’s been worth it though, the texture is much better and without sounding too much like a gob, my skin is radiant. Unfortunately its attached to a skull more suited to a gorilla than a human, but I’m making the most of what god and science gave me 💅

The photosensitivity is my main issue though, I’ve always been the type to need SPF50 to even type the phrase ‘direct sunlight’, but now it’s ridiculous. Good thing we’ve had a pandemic that’s limited my summer fun!
Thank you, @atomichabits ! I have had no peeling just a weird feeling of sunburnt sore skin and my skin is drier. I think I am just going to use it twice a week because whenever I try to increase it my skin says no and like you say, it does still give great results. I've used Differin and The Ordinary Retinol in squalene in the past and found them good but the tret really does give results on a different level.

Just read a post in the Freaks group from someone who had a dream she met CH who gave her a certificate for making good skincare buying choices & followed it with "#bestdream" and "#lifegoals" 🤮 It's a cult. No wonder CH behaves the way she does with this kind of fawning.
I reckon she hasn't had filler at all, it's just her head getting bigger. She's just using the filler line as an excuse for a MASSIVE EGO.

I started of slow with tretinoin and then slowly built upto every night, I did in the beginning buffer it with a moisturiser and then applied an ointment over any sensitive areas I would catch.
I only mentioned skin+me is because they recommended only using a cleanser, moisturiser and spf....not 10 different products and certainly no actives such as acids. Noticing CH recommended these online derms.... She must know some of her followers are going to use these services and know the follow up advice they give out. So you have two conflicting advices... Use tret with basic simplistic products or use tret with a tit load of products and watch your face drop off 😂

They do have derms on board

Are dermatica the same type of set up do you know? Or are they actually dermatologists?
As above, they have derms and pharmacists, although their team is bigger. I've only used skin + me who've been great so far and the feedback I've seen of both looks like most prefer skin + me other than the fact that dermatica is technically cheaper because you don't use it every day, whereas skin + me starts low with the actives so you can use daily meaning you do need a new tube each month rather than being able to skip like dermatica

But the prescribers that give you your prescription aren’t actually derms.
I know, I clarified this above. They'll be working closely with the derms though seeing as this is a new business. I've actually had an email conversation with Nafeesa over the last few days because I wasn't happy with my first month and she's been really helpful and obviously knows what she's talking about.

There's nothing to say the pictures you send aren't also reviewed by the derms they have on board, just because the person writing the prescription is a pharmacist.

ETA also the base formulations and options they provide will almost definitely have been developed by the dermatologists in the team. Expecting a proper private dermatologist appointment monthly plus product for £20 a month is a bit silly tbh

They specialise in dermatology but they’re still just pharmacists.
I know because this info is openly on the website...

I don’t think anyone’s expecting a private derm consultation once a month with them. But I at least thought the initial consultation would be with a dermatologist. But by the sounds of it, it may not even be overseen / reviewed by a dermatologist, depending upon circumstances. It sounds as though they have certain derm created formulas and depending on whether you want it for acne or rosacea or anti aging, then a pharmacist picks which is the best fit? Derm consulted only if necessary. Or am I way off?

There's one pharmacist and three doctors, which is quite a good ratio I think

On another note, just saw this on my feed from the freaks group. Cringe.
Something tells me she wouldn't be as understanding if her boyfriend came home and said he was going to spend 600 quid on mystery bags.
