Who is Dr. Natalia and what is her channel?

I liked some of Dr Dray's advice, but I think she is doing to much ads and affiliate links. So I only click on her videos when I think the information is beneficial to me. I also follow other dermatologists and one in particular doesn't do ad or affiliate links. It's Dr. Davin Lim
Dr Natalia Spierings. I used to like Dr Dray too, but stopped watching. They all seem to sell out eventually. It’s disappointing. The lure of financial gain and therefore advertising certain brands above others always seems to win out in the end. I suppose it’s inevitable, but I’m still disappointed.

Isn't it so funny how Dr Natalia made a big song and dance about influencers just wanting your money? Oh really, so you've set up an IG channel out of the goodness of your heart?

Thanks!
Yeah but Dr Davin Lim doesn't do that, that is why I pointed him out. He makes it clear all the time that he doesn't do product advertisements and affiliate links on Youtube and Instagram. That's very rare. The only gain for him is publicity for his practition in Australia.

I know. She may not be promoting actual products and have swipe ups, but her product is herself. Her aim is to advertise her medical practice and increase her client / patient base.

ETA - same with Dr Lim

Yeah I don't mind about that. I benefit from free advice and information. And not because they have some sponsorship with random products. I checked Dr Natalia content, but her content doesn't speak to me, so no follow from me 🤣.

It's not that anybody minds but it's more that it's hypocritical to launch an attack on influencers (specifically CH) for wanting to make money when they're doing the exact same thing.

No idea who Dr Lim is but it's obvious that Dr Natalia is going after fame

Oh I didn't know the backstory. I came here literally searching for some gossip about Dr Dray. Being an influencer is different I think. Some I consider an influencer such as Dr Dray and Caroline. Their main income is social media. So they have to do sponsorships and affiliate links. I personally am less interested in those who benefit that way.

I have a feeling Dr dray relies on youtube much in terms of money. I don't think she doesn't actually practice anymore. That's why she uploads everytime and has so much time to post and work on social media. I know she did online consultations but that's about it, she doesn't have much work experience.

I stopped watching Dr Dray a couple of years ago and at that time she was still going in to do clinics and see patients. So I hadn’t realised until quite recently that she had stopped practicing. Do you know when she stopped and why? Did she mention anything at the time? She always made that part of her unique profile, that she was a practicing dermatologist, so she was up to date with skin conditions and was interested in skin health as opposed to skincare, which is why she attracted a loyal following in the first place. But then slowly the ads started creeping in, and that was it for me.

I’ve not looked at Hirons Instagram for ages because I can’t be arsed but seeing as we’ve talked about her today thought I’d have a quick shifty. She’s such a bleeping hypocrite. She rants on, calling out other influencers for not declaring adverts, so what do you call this then? The woman needs to start a bit of self reflection.

JessicaDeFino here, slaying Queen Caroline. She speaks so much good sense, and even with a little disclaimer on the end. It’s not witchy, or nasty, it’s just to the point...and (I think anyway) right...

She’s so arrogant. She’s right and everyone else is wrong. Nobody else is allowed an opinion. But it’s fine for her to express an opinion online (not in person) about other people’s practices and SM posts - which she’s done in the past.

She clearly doesn't know who Jessica DeFino is or what she does.
I'm sure she does know - she just wants to present her as an attention-seeker who wants to "jump on [her] tails" (lol at that) rather than a serious beauty writer to discourage people from finding out what she's about, and because she doesn't want people seeing through her bull and ultimately buying less products! Gotta protect her $$$!

I can kind of see both points here, I actually thought CHs slide was about that Dr Natalia.

JDF has a much smaller following that CH and from what I've seen of her work she advocates for "clean" or "green" beauty. CH generally advocated for science led brands and I think is rightly critical of things being called natural, green, clean and non-toxic as there is no regulation over these terms in the skincare industry.

Honestly I don't agree that CH is using an excessive amount of product for her morning routine, it's a face wash, mist, eye cream, serum, tanning drops, moisturiser. I personally wouldn't use tanning drops but I know a lot of people do 🤷‍♀️ I think it's quite a normal morning routine
