That sweatshirt... very on brand
From the House of Neon, mate. In case you missed it, she’s been banging on about the company/brand for days now. The House of Neon, just to make it clear. Neon in the House. House of Neon, did you know? It’s from the House of Neon where everything is neon. House of Neon, mate.

Her face was so red tonight on the live using all the stuff from kit 2!
She probably said (if she even acknowledged it) that it's all the blood coming to the skin's surface enhancing circulation and whatnot. People with rosacea and couperose, stay away from her protocols, regimes and kits. In fact, use it as a reference of what not to put on your skin.

All that redness is her skin reacting and trying defend itself from all the aggressive things she does to it.

She blamed menopausal skin, I don’t believe her.

She’s doing HRT and I thought that alleviated all of those symptoms .

Disclaimer : I didn’t do HRT during my menopause so I could be wrong .

Well she is lying, menopause has nothing to do more than dry skin due the low levels of estrogen and the low production of collagen, making skin sensitivity, so using such harsh acids, over clean, etc with the skin already sensitive due to the hormons would be just pouring fuel instead of water over the fire

I’m so glad I’ve found you guys. While I’ve occasionally read her blog for product ideas/ inspiration, I could not and would not ever watch any of her videos because i instinctively know she would annoy the ever living duck out of me but I couldn’t fathom why until these threads.

it’s that bloody hair. Its ratty and looks permanently greasy so it makes her look so damn haggard and (dare I say it) unattractive when it’s constantly scraped off her face.

apologies if I’m being overly witchy here but I just had to get that off my chest

I'd be so annoyed if something like that arrived damaged - and does neoprene 'bounce back'?! Depends on the kind of dent I would imagine... can't believe people are ok with this.
No, in my experience (have a very old neoprene pencil case covered in dents...!) it doesn’t.

Do anyone remember when she went on a massive rant about Drunk Elephant for promoting their harsh products in a very irresponsible way like putting acids etc near ypur eyes? The brand is tit anyway but still, double standards...

Wow I’m so glad to have found this thread!

I’m in her fb group and honestly the brown-nosing to her, and that boy who moderates it, is just unbearable.

There’s constant posts from people who are trying to justify their next £70-£100 product purchase and it kind of makes me sad because there’s always a hot new product with a buzz that people want to try and you’ll never really ‘have it all’..

Also it feels like if you can’t buy at least 2-3 high end items/also have a £30month dermatica subscription then your skincare routine just isn’t good enough..

I sort of feel like I’m cheating the system because I buy my tretinoin (one of the most proven anti ageing and anti acne ingredients) from pharmacies when in Spain for £15 and my routine is mostly Cerave/ordinary, and I only buy new things when my current products run out. E.g when I finish my big tube of moisturiser I can choose an exciting new one!

Soz for the essay it just really bothers me how many people get sucked into the constant hype of new products especially when they can barely afford it!

You might enjoy the Dr Sam Skincare FB group more. People are much more into simple evidence-based skincare there. Loads of people comparing their experiences with tret and a LOT of sunscreen chat. Dr Sam is pretty hands-off and it's mainly members supporting each other.

I'm all for anti ageing, will definitely look into that!

improved. Caroline as made it so all these girls with mediocre/bad skin think their skin experts because they know what acids are and buy expensive skincare.
[/QUOTE]
There was someone in the who’d bought herself a HEAP of expensive skincare, and was now asking for someone to tell her how to use it. I was dumbfounded by this. Like, she could clearly read and write?!

You guys saved me £250 btw, I had ordered Box 2 but reading what you’d written made me realise I really didn’t need another load of products, as I’m actually really happy with my current routine. I just got caught up in the frenzy, because CH is bloody good at her job!

You're very welcome! We'll be happy to accept, as a small token of gratitude, a contribution toward our Christmas party of say....£250?

So happy to see people finally breaking free from the CH buzz! It’s truly crazy and over the top. I’m trying to establish a decent skincare routine at the moment because of various skin issues and hair loss, I want to have nice skin if I’m going to be bald! But I’m mainly using Neutrogena/FaceTheory products and I’m only adding in one new product every 2/3 weeks so I can see how my skin reacts to something new. There’s no way I’m going to justify these high end products that CH pushes or the monthly tret subscriptions. It’s just all too over the top.

Did anyone see how RED CH’s face was on her Insta live yesterday after using the products in Kit 2?
Surely that can’t be healthy... And slapping lots of new products all at once on your face is going to cause issues. It needs to be a slow process! Something CH doesn’t endorse AT ALL.

And she kept saying it was because she had so much stuff on her face while telling us that's how we should use it.

I’ve just seen the post that says she’s had a reaction... Big ouch, indeed. Apparently she used 3 products to start with and so will be able to narrow down the culprit.
The culprit is that old bag’s advice.

Turns out she whacked Hylamide on her face after using acids. Yay for irritation.
