Rosacea and dermatitis. The dermatologist was recommended to me by a friend who is a doctor (different field of medicine but interested in derm). I was told to stop everything as my skin was highly sensitized. My treatment plan was specific to my skin issues. The number of products I was using was making my skin issues worse over time (especially glycolic acid, which I thought was helping). They went through my entire veryyy long list of products and told me what to keep and what to get rid of and why.Tell us more! What's your skin type? Was the derm particularly insistent about stopping any specific products/ingredients? I've been thinking about seeing a private derm for a while... How did you find a good one and do you know what a good price is for a consultation?
CH recommends some products for rosacea suffers that my dermatologist said a big no to. Seeing my skin now i loathe CH. I feel duped by her fake insider knowledge. The doctor has recommended 2 other products which I can add later (also gave us names of cheaper options). If you can save to see a dermatologist privately I would recommend it. My skin is happy now. CH advice f'd up my skin.
