Genuinely feel sorry for some of those women. I've been in those positions where you become obsessed with certain influencers and buy anything they mention or endorse. It's really not healthy (not to mention the debt you can get into). I wish some of these influencers would just flat out say "you do not need this"

CH doesn't often recommend cheaper products. She makes a big thing about not getting into debt for skincare etc then says you get what you pay for and whips everyone into a frenzy about kits that cost hundreds of pounds. People on minimum wage are spending nearly £100 on a month or two worth of glycolic acid wipes because she says they are the best. The Ordinary has a glycolic toner that contains a significant amount that costs a few pounds and lasts forever.

Momma Bear Hirons, banny (boy fanny), that lovely Trump visual... piss off, pal. Even though he’s gay, he’s still such a male twat. Women are icky, wah wah. If a woman talked about bleaching her arsehole, the freaks would be horrified. Why is it ok for the bloke to do so? Rhetorical question btw 🙄

Clearly the baby was slacking on hot cloth cleansing and acid exfoliating, better step it up a gear 🙄

And I'm still in disbelief over the exchange between that freak and her boyfriend

Just read back over the last few posts and I'm now in stitches over the tea towel/ dishcloth/ Turin Shroud face masks 🤣 But seriously, maskne can fuck right off. Sets my teeth on edge

So happy to see people finally breaking free from the CH buzz! It’s truly crazy and over the top. I’m trying to establish a decent skincare routine at the moment because of various skin issues and hair loss, I want to have nice skin if I’m going to be bald! But I’m mainly using Neutrogena/FaceTheory products and I’m only adding in one new product every 2/3 weeks so I can see how my skin reacts to something new. There’s no way I’m going to justify these high end products that CH pushes or the monthly tret subscriptions. It’s just all too over the top.

She’ll probably be out on her arse if her ladyship hears about it. But she’s talking sense. I don’t know why that lady is staying in the group, she’s not been a member that long and sounds thoroughly disillusioned.

It is absolutely NOT the consumers fault that Sunday Riley are understaffed. If customers paid for an item based on an ‘X to Y working days to deliver’ then it is their duty to provide the goods within the X to Y timeframe. It doesn’t matter what the excuses are, if they haven’t shipped then they have lied to customers. It is not the customers problem that they are understaffed and it is soooooo unprofessional to act as though the customers should be MORE understanding when it is the retailer who should be MORE competent. We’re all human and can sympathise to a degree but come on! How easy would it be to send an email to all outstanding customers with an apology at the very least?!

Hirons replied 😂
“If I do not pay people for the quantity I’ve ordered, it could put brands out of business.”
Watch out love, your head won’t fit through the door in a minute. I highly doubt Zelens and Dermalogica would be out of business if CH didn’t pay them 😂
It’s not like she could just send the products back, is it? Oh noo. That doesn’t fit into the fantasy!

Someone called the Hydraluron “Hironluron” earlier and she commented saying “Please don’t call it that, thanks.” The drama continues.
Someone posted on the group earlier asking about what they think is going to be in the autumn kit. Seriously? Seems excessive since the summer kit has only just been done. AND there’s talks of a Hirons releasing her own branded products next year. Jeeeeez. Can’t wait to see how many faces she burns off with that.
I’m beginning to truly despise skincare.
I know what you mean. I enjoy skincare. I don’t spend a lot of money on it, I don’t have lots to spend, but even if I did I wouldn’t go mad. I do love taking care of my skin, looking at new products, deciding what I might like to try next, etc. The way Caroline and the people in the forum go on it sucks all the fun and joy out of skincare. It turns it into a competitive, joyless pastime, it sounds really stressful.

Ooh someone in the group has Politely questioned why there’s so little time to decide on the kits and how they dislike that it whips everyone into a frenzy. She worded it so much better than I could and it’s reminded me that I’m falling for marketing hype. The only saving grace is a that at 10am my brain is functioning. It’s late at night when I tend to make stupid decisions.

I applaud Jessica for this, good on her. Influencers have brainwashed people into thinking they need x amount of products.

2-3 people working on thousands of orders? Dreadful cutting corners business practice but Caroline is making it out that it's the customers fault and the customer is being unreasonable.

Don't take on orders you're not capable of fulfilling or else make sure you are sufficiently staffed. At the very least, a notification to the customers to advise that they're working through a large volume of orders and an estimate of how long it should take
Totally agree with all points here. My heart goes out to the two or three people working on thousands of orders. They must be exhausted when they get home. Presumably, they will all be on minimum wage.

Hirons only cares about Hirons and filling her own pockets.

Yesterday they were false lashes from being on This Morning. Today it looked like only mascara.

... Now, can someone please start trashing the kits and talk me out of wanting one? I have no willpower and it’s so much money for skincare 😭
When you really look at it, there's only 1-2 products per kit worth investing in (the serums IMO). It's a waste of time spending lots of money on cleanser (it goes down the drain, literally) and moisturizer. Save your money and just buy a serum ;)
