Yes, the white saviour thing struck me too. The patronising cow thinks she’s helping to elevate a brand that’s backed by LVMH. She probably thinks this is her next “contribution” to BLM. Cringe.

Excellent point on the white saviour thing. I doubt there's a paid partnership going on (she wishes)

Also, one of the questions on the IGTV was: "is LED good for your skin?" "Yes, LED is good for your skin" with no further elaboration or detail.

Completely agree. This is not an ad, Fenty doesn’t need her promotion. They weren’t even going to send it to her before she phoned a friend and asked for it. Shows how much they wanted/needed her opinion. What a joke.

Hirons is talking some serious rit on her latest IGTV, which is apparently “secondary feedback” on her Fenty review. (WTF??) She doesn’t like people complaining about the fragrance in RiRi’s skincare... If, and it’s a big if, someone has a genuine allergy then OK, Ms Hirons will let you off, but the rest of you fusspots can just suck it up. At that point I had to stop watching, she was being so aggressive and ridiculous. She seems to have got a little confused and appears to think she is some kind of Brand Ambassador or PR for Fenty. Not just some nomark twit who had to beg for samples. She is off her head with hubris! This massively inflated level of delusion is new to me as I have only just caught up with this thread, having not bothered with her for ages, but... wow.

The worst is that she has got some serious white saviour tit going on. I’m not quite sure how to describe it, but Hirons seems to think she needs to defend and explain the brand and no way does anyone at Fenty need that crap. Cringe.
I didn’t see her supporting a Jewish people after that vile outburst by Wiley. Come on Caroline you bloody hypocrite 🤬

I think she’s doing her own ad, in a desperate attempt to be seen by them and gain some kind of business relationship in the future to bolster her woke credentials.

I can't help but think that if it weren't for BLM, Caroline would be slating Fenty- she's usually against makeup brands going into skincare

I very rarely question how social media personalities look but her obnoxious nature and giant ego cause me to not give a tit about Caroline Hirons.

This woman uses Botox, fillers and Profhilo, clearly she thought the creams she flogs on behalf of companies weren’t doing enough for her so has chosen the Intervention route yet has the bleeping nerve to think herself the Doyenne of British Skincare and was miffed when Fenty didn’t send her press samples.

She doesn’t pay for her hair appointments so can’t ask for her money back but I’d be looking for a new Hairdresser based on this look.

....and a White Saviour who gives the impression of thinking she’s the lone voice the black community need , she’s an a.

She reminds me of Jimmy Saville.

Love this totally fair comment - yes Caroline, but how could you possibly know whether these products are any good unless you’ve tested them exclusively for an extended period of time. Plus, you’re white, so how would you really know. Caroline’s response - I’m a genius, don’t question me.

duck off Hirons.
she looks like a white walker here from GOT.
So she’s basically saying she doesn’t need to test anything so what’s the point of listening to her opinions?

I am shocked at her appearance. How on earth can anyone be foolish enough to take any advice from someone who looks so slovenly?

She gives it all away to her spoilt daughter, niece who works for her and her mum who worked for Coty in the 1950s!! 🙄🙄🙄
Her mum worked in beauty?? She’s never said that. Next you’ll be saying she comes from a long line of these counter certified dermatologists 🤔😉

Didn’t her Mum work for Lancôme? , her Mum has really lovely features and clear skin, she didn’t layer on a ton of different products that’s for sure.

Her freebie hair appointments are not looking like Josh Wood’s best business decision... Hirons herself was moaning about the state of her hair in her last IGTV. So no one’s happy 🤷🏻‍♀️ I can imagine they’d be scared to dump her off the freebies list though - she’d go postal!!

1. A foaming cleanser.
‘As a rule, steer clear of ‘foaming’ on the bottle.’ Source: blog. Need I say more?

2. A ‘toner’. Direct quote from the blog re toners: ‘When I talk about toner I am not referring to some alcohol-laden mixture of water and witch hazel.’ It’s also listed on the blog as one to avoid for sensitive and rosacea prone skin. Was this mentioned?

3. An SPF 30. Remind me who the poster girl for ‘nothing below SPF 50’ is? ‘Massive difference between UVA and UVB damage between 30 and 50’ etc etc source: almost every conversation/insta rant about SPF ever.

I was unable to find the inci for Fenty Skin, I am generously assuming the cleaner is SLS free (would love to know the pH) and that the large Water doesn’t contain alcohol but the top two ingredients for the latter were water and witch hazel if I remember correctly.

No shade to Rihanna, most skincare lines look like the above but for CH to ’educate’ us and then review Fenty Skin like she did... no thanks. Usually she is on one with ‘clean’ marketing but didn’t go on about it too much here.
I follow a woman on IG who works for BET, is Black and frequents a dermatologist for her skin. She took the (gifted) Fenty skincare line to her last appointment and derm’s opinion was basically none of the products will “hurt” you, they’re affordable, but unless you’re 20ish with decent skin, they won’t do much. If you can afford to spend money on your skincare, especially if your skin is more mature, do t but if not, then these products are fine, just don’t expect miracles. This woman also mentioned how she’s had much better luck with skincare developed by doctors (I made a comment earlier about how Hirons never really rates Dr brands) Anyway, I thought that was a really honest review for something gifted and it made a lot of sense.

Far more balanced than "they're great just because I say so and stop whining about fragrance okay"
