There’s absolutely nothing new in that article apart from saying the trial date was set for March 4th and she had found out about it a few weeks before not a couple of days before which is what I have read everywhere up until now. It also implied that CF had been planning to take her life in the lead up to it and it was a case of when not if she was going to do it. Even more reason that a family member should have acted to get her sectioned and at least been with her in her last few days then surely??

I really don’t understand why her family didn’t get her sectioned. They can’t blame her friends for that. Thats on them.

A new thing in the article is that she had slashed her wrists. It was always inferred but I had never seen it written in black and white like that.

The more I read recently, the more I am convinced her mother is being driven by guilt and unfortunately is looking for someone else to blame. Sad

I agree, this new doc is so unnecessary. There's nothing new to be said or 'revealed'. I do think in a situation like that where someone is so vulnerable, you can't just rely on friends. Family (if possible) need to step up when its matter of life and death.

She was a work associate and barely anything else judging by those ‘unseen texts’. So many grief thief’s used the terrible tragedy to further their own careers. Agree, we've discussed it on the Liam Payne thread, his dad had tried to get him sectioned (after an overdose which required resuccitation) for 90 days, Liam talked himself out in 3

Even if her family had successfully got her admitted, I'm sure she could have done similar only making it short term and not addressing her issues

It's so tasteless, I don't think they were even friends just acquaintances?
It feels particularly distasteful when CF no doubt had real friends who are grieving privately.

Hard agree.

Plus, even if you’re sectioned successfully it’s not forever. Unless you can get more stable (which is very hard), the chances are you’ll do whatever you want to do anyway at that point.

CF couldn't deal with the consequences of her behaviours and the prospect of a court hearing would have reflected on her future career. She needed to be in the limelight and loved for positive reasons.

I'm sure her friends will have suffered a lot mentally in the aftermath of the suicide...They are victims here, blamed for perceived neglect when they must have provided her with support which was lacking from immediate family. Even basic support. Nobody can prevent a suicide if the individual is determined to escape from their life.

Always has been. Anytime someone famous passes, she posts about it, acting as if they were close friends and constantly makes it about her, usually with a photo of her and whoever it is that has died.

I'm getting sick of Caroline's mum. Which is so mean to say, she lost a child, but I hope when this big fifth anniversary is over and the documentary has aired she may calm down.
