I think Lewis is a bad sort - partly because of things that have been reported about him and partly because of a hunch (I realise that has no credibility).

Lewis and Lottie have been photographed having quite bad public arguments a few times. I doubt their relationship is rosy. It just isn’t as dramatic as his relationship with Caroline for whatever reason - maybe their dynamic is different and/or Lottie is more emotionally composed.

He was suspected of cheating on Caroline or at least being in contact with other women more than once.

Is it a coincidence that his past two relationships have been with wealthy, vulnerable women that have apparently financially supported him or does he target that type deliberately?

He was/is involved in some seemingly dodgy social media finance venture. He doesn’t seem to have a job otherwise.

After ringing the police (as he should have) he made vindictive comments to Caroline about how the phone call would affect her reputation. I think it was something like “you’re ducked now”. I think this indicates he was motivated not only by self-protection.

Despite publicly appearing to support her and not pressing charges, I think he was manipulative and enjoyed Caroline’s downfall in the end. After all, he sent an ex girlfriend a photo of Caroline’s blood all over the bed (why would you think to do that? Taking a pic as evidence is one thing but sending it to an ex partner is another) which he would have known could easily get into the hands of the media and inflame the situation.

He also quickly started a new relationship with someone who, if not friends with Caroline certainly seemed to be closely connected to her life. This relationship was said to have begun at a memorial for Caroline, which I think speaks volumes about how he really felt about Caroline.

Caroline abused him that night and he was a victim but, in my opinion, he is an immoral, manipulative, parasitic grease ball.
This reminds me: wasn’t there some financial weirdness going on with Lewis and Lottie? Was that the finance venture? I seem to remember that there was some suggestion Lottie had given him money. …which raises other questions because Tanology doesn’t seem that successful, and every newspaper article mentions them renovating their house in the style of a “LA mansion”. I really don’t think I’d want to be famous or publicly wealthy!

I’m sure I read somewhere Lottie loaned him money?

Hence me musing that Tanology isn’t that successful when their house also looks mega bucks. 😶

Agreed with the weird triangle thing. It is so, so odd. I wonder if they all think it’s worth it to have such tangled lives?!

Their house isn’t in an upscale part of London; it’s in a very ordinary and not very pretty suburb and yes, Louis very likely had an input as would be small change for him and a decent family investment. I also think he clearly bought Phoebe’s house for her. He seems naturally very generous by nature; I remember when he did X Factor he had privately paid for that small scouse guys rehab. That was so touching. I became a Louis fan then, hadn’t noticed him before really (sorry Louis). All speculation of course and sorry to girls if it’s all from their own influencer work .. but that could be hard to get a mortgage on ..

I imagine that she wants Caroline's name to be resurrected in the media again as the 5 year anniversary approaches? By lashing out at the friends who supposedly failed her she knows that they can hardly defend themselves or reveal some of the more unsavoury details of what really happened as no one should speak badly of the dead and they would be vilified. I feel very sorry for them and think that C's mother should step back and reconsider her accusations.
I agree, they already feel as bad as it’s possible to feel. They loved their friend too. They don’t need to be involved in this battle.

I’ll be honest if I were the friends I’d get a cease and desist against the mum (is that a thing in the UK)
But yeah, I’d get some legal advice to gag her from talking about me

It does seem very poor form to start the blame game. It’s very much like the Liam Payne situation where the grief takes over but in the end they’re grown adults with their own demons. It’s no one’s job to look after grown adults 24/7. I do also get a bad vibe from Lewis though and I find it odd he sent the photos to an ex when Caroline hit him

Yes! Can’t believe I left that out. Just googled it - she gave him 22k to pay off his debts and her brother was said to be concerned. She is also said to foot the bill in expensive restaurants.

He is awful.

I thought I remembered something.

I get supporting your family, but there is zero reason he can’t get a “proper job”.

He’s not articulate at all no, I’ve always seen him as a bit of a himbo if I’m honest.
However giving him the benefit of the doubt, that is an incredibly hard thing to go through and there is no way he has the emotional maturity to deal with it properly. I don’t know how you even start to deal with it but Id assume he’s got a level of unprocessed trauma around it.

you have to be absolute evil psychopath to not be impacted by the suicide of your on / off partner, which it is really unlikely he is.
CFs mum does want to paint him somewhat in that light but is he really some kind of emotional devoid monster? Or is he just super immature and self serving?

I thought the same about benefit of the doubt, but then maybe don’t go on a podcast talking about it.

To me, he comes across as incredibly lost.

He does seem incredibly hurt by it and it would be wild if he wasn’t. I think he’s in the category of men who find it hard to talk about their feelings openly and don’t have a language for it. I think women, generally talk more openly than men do and we have the language to talk about how we feel that men weren’t afforded or socially allowed to have - and so he can’t articulate it because he doesn’t know how.

I do hope he’s in a better place now.

Anyone see the Katie hind article in the daily Mail with supposed new details of her final hours? It’s behind a pay wall can’t believe this woman is reporting on her loads lately

There’s absolutely nothing new in that article apart from saying the trial date was set for March 4th and she had found out about it a few weeks before not a couple of days before which is what I have read everywhere up until now. It also implied that CF had been planning to take her life in the lead up to it and it was a case of when not if she was going to do it. Even more reason that a family member should have acted to get her sectioned and at least been with her in her last few days then surely??
