A quick google of “Ms Weiss, flack, prosecution” will bring a myriad of results which all quote Ms Weiss’ monologue from the December hearing. The BBC, The Telegraph, all have the same level of detail; not just the rags. Gabriella Swerling from The Telegraph was in court that day and has a long history of covering legal issues, she also documented the same level of detail.

Do you think these papers would publish blatant lies? If you think that then fair enough, there are none as blind as those who refuse to see.

some amount of naivety on here.

I imagine whatever is on that bodycam footage was DEEPLY troubling for CF. I don’t know how credible the officer’s statement that the scene was ‘like something from a horror movie’ is but there was clearly a lot of blood, which I’m sure was on both CF and LB, she was allegedly in a state of undress, distressed and was drunk too so just piecing the bits of information together - you can imagine a pretty shocking and upsetting scene. She was apparently acting belligerently towards the police officers, I assume that’s on camera, and she may have continued to be abusive towards LB too - and he may have been saying all sorts back to her. CF must have been terrified of stills or footage from that night getting into the public domain and how she would reconcile that with her ‘brand’; her positive, happy, upbeat ‘all about the love’ brand ☹ I’m sure there are ways the fallout could have been mitigated but I can imagine how afraid she was, and that she couldn’t see a way for her life to be back on track after that. If the resports of her suffering bipolar are true then that will have compounded matters even further. I have a friend who has bipolar and unmanaged, she can be completely unrecognisable in her behaviour - it is truly awful and so confusing for her. All of this is just so incredibly sad and I cannot imagine the pain and distress CF experienced in her last months. I hope she has found her peace now.
And what was on the camera footage is likely supported by the 999 call and officer's statements. My personal opinion is that is showed her when her mask had slipped. To friends, she was the life and soul of the party, funny, 'intense' and impulsive are words they have used. I doubt they got to see the side of her the exes did!

His PR team could have released it?
I think they probably did or maybe he did. The photo was said to be 'obtained by The Sun'. On the night he reportedly shouted 'I was normal til I met her'. If someone did wake you up by throwing things at your head and you had called 999 fearing you would get killed - I could see why he might want to get a photo out to show something of what happened, after all the papers were making out he was too tall to be a victim?!
He may also not have been thinking straight. Then later, he feels remorse and is back to wanting to help her rather than feeling he was the victim.

Some of the quotes in this are really chilling.

“The Sun on Sunday reported another source as saying the 39-year-old would never kill herself and that Brady later apologised for 'creating unnecessary drama.'”

I actually feel sorry for Andrew Brady

Yep, I've said it before. All the insistence by her friends she was bullied . The article stated 'her camp' gave the quotes about Brady being a time waster and calling an ambulance out of spite. So caroline herself used the media to attack someone's character when it suited her.

The rumours of Brady cheating also got into the papers that way and he denied them. To me, that's a smear campaign. It's not a coincidence that she did this to multiple exes. Accusing them all of cheating publically after saying they were 'the one'!

The magazine thing was incredibly stupid and mean spirited and I don’t think you’ll get many people arguing the opposite. But things like that are incredibly rare. I think most of the criticism levelled at her was warranted. She was a lot older and was in a position of authority of him as he was a contestant on the show. People are entitled to see it as gross. He may have reached the age of consent but he was still a child.

And if it was Ant or Dec shagging a 17 year old BGT contestant the social commentary would be the same. Possibly even worse.
Right and in some countries this relationship would be considered illegal. I don't think it's fine for a 35 year old to date a 17 year old, regardless of gender or whatever mental health issue the older person supposedly has or if they "just want to be loved" ffs.

Oh right, so the child coinkeedinkee gave birth to is not their son?!
And my niece's mother is who??
Yes, a 14 year gap is old enough to be a parent.
Considering the age of consent is 16, I wouldn’t call 14 years a standard child-parent age gap.

All she did was throw a phone? All??

Hmm.. firstly I don’t think a phone is capable of inflicting that kind of injury and secondly throwing anything at someone in a violent rage is inexcusable.

She’s minimising it yet again. And that’s before you take into consideration that she frightened someone enough to consider they were going to be killed, and went on to launch a tirade of verbal abuse.

Piers should have kept that one to himself.
Yes and it doesn't matter if you threw something in anger, it's still assault because you put someone in fear of violence. That's what the law says.

Is what she said to Piers Morgan due to her complete lack of self awareness? or a deiberate attempt to mislead?

"She thanked me, but on the day of the party, I received another text: ‘Don’t think I’ll make it tonight. I can’t even leave the hotel, let alone go home. This has been the worst time of my life. And for what? Throwing a phone in anger. It’s so hard for one person to take.’'

It's all about her and how hard done by she is. No responsibility for throwing things at a person, no mention of demeaning insults which is verbal abuse or understanding throwing objects at someone else creates fear and is abuse.

I genuinely feel that what drove her to take her life was the fear of her behaviour being 'outed' and shame that the image she displayed/portrayed to the public was going to be exposed.

She wasn't ashamed to admit she struggled at times. She'd openly spoken in interviews of her experiences of being in the public eye, pressure on her lifestyle and relationship. Mental health wasn't taboo. That said her job also brought her amazing opportunities and a lifestyle many could only dream of. She courted the media and they too kept her in their sights.

Whatever happened on THAT night, the releasing of evidence, the body cam footage, 999 call, photos of the scene etc mortified her.
We don't know for certain how many times IF ANY she'd previously acted in this way but THIS night it came on top for her.

The CPS quite rightly have to assess the evidence and decide whether to proceed regardless of whether the victim wants to press charges. Clearly there was enough to proceed.
This incident COULD have been the catalyst for her to finally take charge of her behaviour, see that she needed help, admit to herself that this lifestyle couldn't continue. She was in a position more than most of us to get the best help available.
Rather than do that she only envisioned the damage to her image this WOULD cause. She basically acted like her own judge and jury. She'd written herself off and sadly took dreadful, drastic action.
Whether this decision was made 'soundly' or was altered due to medication, drink or substance remains to be seen.

Who knows what the judge would decide. It's not even certain that a custodial sentence was even a given, going guilty doesn't necessarily mean jail. Chances are she'd have got a community order, suspended sentence and damages to victim and seek treatment for herself.
I'm unsure if information of any previous incidents IF THERE WERE ANY would be released to show it wasn't perhaps a one off. Her actions finally catching up with her.

Regardless she's suffered and paid the ultimate price. Damned if she did, damned if she didn't. Just bloody tragic.
I agree with this wholeheartedly. I think whatever was on that bodycam was the stuff of nightmares for her. It consumed her every thought it seems

And I also have to say that threatening to kill yourself to the police if they pursue charges and threatening to kill yourself to your boyfriend is extremely disturbing behaviour.

People who do that are often very manipulative.

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but the police and paramedics giving her cpr, does that mean she was still half alive???
It could mean they tried to get life back in the hope she was caught in time, may of been for families sake or a faint pulse.

When someone’s not breathing cpr is automatically commenced unless it’s clear they’ve been deceased a while.

The ‘only throwing a phone’ thing struck a chord with me.... my ex and I used to have really viscous crazy arguments, which were turned up to 11 under the influence of coke and booze, I’m ashamed to say. On one occasion he smashed my phone into a million pieces and held me down by my neck. He grovelled his way into an apology, and I let him. I don’t know why I ignored my instincts. A few months later in a similar intoxicated situation we had a physical fight which obviously he dominated, being a male and naturally stronger. He hurt me much more that time, though my phone was unscathed (🙄).

Deep down I had known all along the phone smashing was a violent act, symptomatic of a violent person, and that I would never do something like that to his property, never lose control that much. Sorry for the personal anecdote but yeah, in my experience there’s no such thing as “just” throwing a phone or anything like that.

(I had to pay to fix the phone because he was always broke, And to replace it when it eventually gave up 6 Months later)

A very sad situation and maybe we’ll never know the full story behind it . I made a post on the other thread regarding CF.
I personally have no interest in social media at all or the remotest interest in celebrities lives . I do however think I’ve been around long enough and witnessed and behaved mannerisms regarding cocaine and alcohol fuelled binges .DV is not just a trait attributed to working class binge drinking and living on the breadline . Unless you’ve been there it is hard to describe the anger issues it can cause particularly over a long period of time. I’m sure there are other halves on here who have been subjected to vicious verbal or physical attacks just because their partners are on a comedown . For non users multiple your worst hangover by 5 and you’re about there .Add in a bit of jealously usually stemmed from acute paranoia over many years and you have a ticking time bomb. This happens a lot behind closed doors all over the country so the show biz or social media has nothing to do with it . If you were of sound mind you either brush it off or ignore it all together
otherwise there would be hundreds of personalities causing mayhem . It seems these days many celebs want to play the mental health card / fad of the week / food of the month half of them don’t know who they are . They go for all the fitness / healthy food option then go loopy on booze and coke at the weekend , thinking they’ll work it off . Complete nonsense it will try to steal your soul more quickly to some than others . Hence why a lot people keep going as they think well all my friends do it still and they’re all right, everyone is different and people are affected in different ways.
Mental health is a problem but you have to be honest about EVERYTHING otherwise it won’t work . There is no magic bean that counteracts long term cocaine and alcohol abuse . All this talk of 800k signatures for social media privacy is a waste of time it’s not the issue . You’d be better off signing the End of the Line partition.

I feel so sad for Caroline that she had to put everything out on the table for the public to see , but also we don’t know how many times before had she close brushes with the police , I just wish she’d had a caution years before enough to make sit up think .

RIP Caroline

I don't believe the cps had a water tight case. From first hand experience they do sometimes just decide to make a bad situation worse for reasons best known to themselves. I believe CF lawyer advised her to plead not guilty because then when it all came to court it would be made known WHY she was behaving this way. In my opinion Lewis didn't want what happened to come out anymore than Caroline did because then we might see he was being unkind on some level towards her or maybe not, we will never actually know now either way. This is only my opinion, I am a new member btw.
What if they had dropped the case and a month or so later she caused his death? None of us know what happened that night but it was clearly a serious incident. Domestic violence is taken very seriously and rightly so as many people lose their lives because of it. The CPS do not play games and they do not prosecute for the fun of it. If you bother to look at the evidence that has been published it is clear that this was a serious incident. CF had an opportunity to tell her side of the story in court. If the CPS and police’s version of events was not correct, she had every chance of an acquittal but the CPS do not bring charges unless they feel they have a good chance of success.

I’m not talking about his behaviour then - I agree there’s lots we don’t know and I’m not saying CF is a saint at all. I’m referring to his actions since she’s passed away - seems crass to me to put it all ‘out there’.
Grief does weird things to people. It really annoys me when people come out of the woodwork in such support after the person has died. Suddenly she was amazing, the best thing in the whole world, but I bet when these charges were brought and she was struggling mentally and needed treatment people scattered, especially the showbiz lot who are now saying “be kind” . Serious mental health problems scare people. So many people are fair weather friends and were probably there more than willing to ride on her coat tails of success (therefore probably denying perhaps she’s struggling) then when she finally breaks down off they go. Maybe it wasn’t the case in Caroline’s situation but I’ve seen it happen so many times, humanity is sadly so predictable.

It's a really difficult thing for people to now say celeb gossip and all that culture needs to stop. Caroline loved gossip and she made her name on reality tv and is the figurehead of the trashiest reality tv show where the contestant have no talents.

Caroline was friends with journalists and people that work at papers, she understood the relationship was symbiotic and they needed each other. Without the talk and news on celebs their star fades, someone can't just be famous and only have the positive stories about them reported.

Nicola McClean, Stephanie Davis et al really don’t strike me as being the sort of women CF would have wished to have associated with her. Because let’s be honest - they’re vile pond life.
Caroline appeared to be mates with Dawn Porter , Gizzi Erkskine and other creative media types, not NM or SDavies.

I would’ve thought so too but a girl I went to school with’s Dad hanged himself, his wife went out and he phoned her a while later and asked how long she’d be and she told him she was just around the corner and wouldn’t be long, but then she bumped into someone she knew and stood chatting to them instead of going straight home. When she arrived home he’d hanged himself, so it seemed he wanted to know that she’d back in time to find him and save him but because she got distracted sadly he died
On the flip side he could have been checking to make sure he had enough time that she wouldn't be able to save him. Or that he wanted her to be the one to find him and no one else so was making sure she would be the next person to come in the door

I’m not sure how her being a beard makes you feel sick? A beard mean she’s appears to be in a relationship it doesn’t mean she was, or was sexually attracted to him or actually slept with him?!?

maybe she befriended him and he wanted her to help him... only they know. He’s publicly very close with his mother and she seemed fine with it which makes me believe there was more to it than met the eye.

there were never many pictures of them together only one blurred one I can recall?

Anyway all that is beside the point now so I’ll get back on topic
A woman old enough to be his Mum, pretending to be his girlfriend, to cover up his sexuality? Yep, that's disgusting and makes me feel sick. I just look at boys the age he was and see how young and vulnerable they are. I don't know the reasons behind Harry needing a beard, whether he wanted one or his record label made him have one. I just know that as a woman of around the same age as CF, I would not feel at all comfortable pretending to be the girlfriend of a teenager 🤢

Isn’t cheating on someone you’re in a relationship some kind of abuse too though? Not condoning her violent outburst.
It's not nice and it's a betrayal of trust but abuse? I don't know, you have the option to leave ( which is setting boundaries), not have crazy fights and throw stuff and then get back together.

We also have no proof any of her boyfriends did cheat, only quotes from 'friends' of hers saying she suspected it. I think her disordered thinking made her believe they were cheating. The 'source' in the Sun ( I'm pretty sure was her) said she was 'paranoid' over the texts from a 60 year old woman and was 'overthinking' but then later knew it was baseless. That's a pervasive pattern she has had for years and a feature of many abusive relationships. It basically means the abused partner can never do anything right and the abuser will imagine they have done stuff to deserve abuse anyway.

Imagine if it was a man and ANY contact his girlfriend had with a man was proof of cheating to him, he invaded her privacy and went through her phone and then flew into rages and threw stuff! It's abuse, no excuses.
