I personally think older people are the worst culprits. They grew up in a different generation where people were openly homophobic and racist and it was fine. I think younger people these days are sooo much more accepting of differences and open. I imagine she got grief from Harry styles fanatics but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was jealous older women.
Or maybe they were from people who thought a woman in her thirties getting off with a 17 year old lad is inappropriate. You don’t have to be jealous or a Directioner to think that.

Has anyone read Andrew Brady's blog post? He is attacking Dan Wooton saying he should be fired! He's saying that the press used to pick unflattering pics of Caroline to post? I've always thought she looked great in any press pics I've seen on her?

He's also saying that celebrities love lives should be private but Caroline herself posted photos on her own Instagram of her boyfriends. I thought after the bad split with Andrew she would keep her next relationship private but she didn't. If you value your privacy then why post about your love life on your open Instagram account? There are plenty of celebs who don't post anything about their love life on their instagram accounts.
Sorry, but Andrew is an absolute c#nt. He gleefully livestreamed getting his "disgusting, toxic' CF tattoo removed. As well as pouncing on an opportunity to sell his NDA agreement to the rags, despite the fact that NDAs are absolutely common practice in that world. Lawyers have to protect their clients interests.

Part of the problem here is c list celebs being unable to resist from announcing every second of their private lives on social media. He wanted to hurt her (he probably felt justified), and he succeeded.

This was posted in a one direction magazine saw someone shared it and thought how awful it was

Yep. And those toxic little 1Ders are now in their late 20s and still hate her. I wonder if there is any truth in the rumours that Cowell (misguidedly) suggest she be Harry's beard in those early days?

Can’t believe they released that pic of the blood at the scene of the crime, I would have thought that was evidence only to be shown in court? It was hugely irresponsible to publish it, seemed borderline illegal to me, and seriously unfair to both Lewis and CF to have that outed in the press. Jesus.

So pleased to hear you are in a much better place , maybe one day when you are better you can at least enjoy a glass of wine or a couple of pints and it not dictate your life to you the body can heal itself over time . Cocaine and alcohol is an awful combination and extremely dangerous , unfortunately it doesn’t get to everyone as everyone is different and probably the reason why many who see friends supposedly unaffected decide that as a reason to carry on .

Many people who are AF are so because of the destructive nature of alcohol, the costs (financial and physical), the fact it's marketed as a panacea to life's problems (it's not), and because the supposed effects are those which are actually conditioned into us rather than a benefit of alcohol (for example the lovely feeling of relaxation you get from a glass of wine is actually your body responding to the idea of it because the alcohol actually takes much longer to take effect)...therefore it's not really helpful or warranted to say to someone you hope they can enjoy it again; if they're AF they're already enjoying life much more without it.

Plenty of interesting books out there about breaking free from the pervasive consumption of alcohol. Being alcohol free isn't because people necessarily have problems or are swigging whiskey out a paper bag at 10am.

Sorry for derailing but I wanted to offer an alternative view.

Just watched Danny C’s video. Out of all of the people coming out of the woodwork I feel like he is the most genuine. He seems genuinely distraught. That can’t have been easy for him to do. He also didn’t get into the blame game that so many others have taken it upon themselves to do.

No no no no don’t turn this in to a conspiracy we will never know what happened that night with Lewis her mental health clearly took a dive for her to take her own life with what was possibly going to come out at the trial
hey, not a conspiracy theorist, just think the world of TV is dark. This site is all about commentary and we’re all here to add to it ✌

Why has Stephanie Davies made this all about her? I’m heartbroken for Caroline, her friends and family. But Stephanie fake crying and releasing a song and being plastered over social media isn’t helping this already difficult situation

There is an aspect of personal responsibility here which is being overlooked on the whole. This was a choice on her own part.
This is true, although very grim but hardly mentioned. She made the choice to not go on, very probably because it was likely to be the end of her career and she'd rather go before the trial took place.

The poster earlier saying about 1 in 10 BPD go on to take their own life, that along with a 1600% increased chance of suicide with hard drug and heavy alcohol users makes it very toxic.

I think what she was really afraid of was the police footage. Not because it showed her with blood all over her as she said - but because it probably showed her true behaviour for which there would have been no excuse.
This nails it, the description of how she was behaving by the police sounded terrible.

I'm uncomfortable with the line some are pushing on here about Caroline being a domestic abuser. I would agree that the 'it was an accident' line of defence should always be refuted IF there is evidence of this being more than a one off incident. As far as I'm aware there has been nothing from her boyfriend/police/cps to imply this.

While I agree that saying you are going to kill yourself can be an emotionally abusive tactic, it can only be described as such if the person has no intent on doing it. In Caroline's case it was a clear symptom of her mental health issues.

Therefore the list of 'abusive' things she is alleged to have done happened on one occasion after she allegedly found out about her boyfriends cheating. This isn't minimising it, it's just stating a fact that from what we know of the facts she MAY be guilty of a one off assault, but there is no indication of a pattern of abuse or that she was an abuser or abusive person in general.

Also someone implied the Instagram post that Caroline wasn't allowed to send out was somehow indicative of being an abuser, I beg to disagree. She clearly stated that she takes responsibility for her actions and she refuses to blame anyone else. Classic abusive behaviour would be the opposite where the abuser denies responsibility and tries to put blame on the victim or anyone but themselves.

I'm not saying the CPS are to blame for pursuing the case and it's a positive thing that they are finally trying to take DV more seriously, but they seem to have their priorities all wrong. The reason why the government quite rightly brought in new laws against DV was because of the thousands of women and children around the country living in fear of violent male partners, having to flee their homes and take refuge in over flowing women's shelters around the country. Two women in the UK are murdered every week by their partners because the police or justice system has failed them.
These are the cases that need prosecuting, but it seems like the CPS wanted to make an example of a high profile female celebrity instead.

I note that Nicky Butt, ex Man Utd player and now Academy manager, was arrested last April for domestic violence against his wife. He was due to appear in court this week but his wife refused to testify against him but, unlike with Caroline's case, the CPS dropped the case instead of proceeding. He merely got cautioned and fined for criminal damage to her phone.

Also noteable how the media coverage for his case was virtually non existent (I didn't even know he was arrested and charged last year).
The press may have a duty to report famous people's court cases but the way the disgusting tabloid press and high profile 'journalists' (like Dan Wooten , Piss Morgan even Eamonn Holmes) vilify, harass, stalk, bully, make up lies and bullshit stories about famous people (nearly always women) is unacceptable and deeply disturbing. Their responses expressing remorse about Caroline's tragic death show them to be total hypocrites. The fact two of these bullying misogynists are employed by ITV just shows that they are a morally bankrupt organisation too.

The tabloid press and high profile social media trolls spewing hatred every day may not be to blame for Caroline's death, it's not as simple as that, but they are one of the many contributing factors and they are a stain on our society.
Can you provide evidence that the CPS wanted to make an example of a high profile female celebrity please?
Also do you know what evidence the CPS had against Butt? If without his wife’s testimony the case became weaker to the point that the CPS felt they had little chance of a conviction, they have no option but to drop the case. In the case of Ms Flack, the transcription of the 999 call along with the police evidence from the scene was clearly enough for the CPS to continue with confidence.

I just struggle to see a huge difference between sharing a text that says ‘feeling sad’ and telling a long very detailed story on Twitter about how she stank after a festival 10 years ago and had to open the car window. It’s this constant we had a ball she was great fun and we laughed 24 hours a day picture that’s being painted because she wants to control the narrative.
When the story broke about Caroline being arrested Dawn said "Woken up to some really hard news about my friend Caroline Flack. Who I love very very much. I will wait until I know the facts before I make a judgement, and I urge you to do the same. This cancel culture doesn’t help anyone. You weren’t there. You don’t know. That’s it".

Bizarre that she even posted that about her friend without getting the full story from Caroline herself and asking if she wanted her to go online defending her? Dawn has hated the Daily Mail for ages as people always comment on her hairstyle etc. I also remember on Twitter she hated any kind of criticism. A lot of these people in the public eye seem to think they're above any kind of criticism.

I don’t se the issue with the thread being left open for those who want to contribute.

Caroline has carefully crafted a happy to lucky, care free version of herself when, the reality was far from that. I think her friends are probably trying to save that image as much as they can because they know how much she tried to hide it. From personal experience of my own family, hiding things and not discussing them only makes it worse. She even said in that post bless her. Brushing things under the carpet means they’re still there. Andrew Brady was engaged to her, he knew her bad side so of course her close friends and family don’t want that side shown.

I agree, the exploitative actions of some of these triple-z listers (and other so-called ‘celeb friends’) are disgusting. I can’t imagine how it is for Caroline’s grieving family right now, with a funeral and an inquest to get through (which is awful enough), then having to see your family member’s life and death being examined and exploited in this way is beyond the pale.

I always wondered that too, as he was so vocal on Instagram at the start?
He posted it at the start of Jan, his posting of it was the first I saw of it - however CF implies it was sold so perhaps they knew it was coming out?

That article credits his Instagram for the photograph although it does also state the photograph has emerged but not where from 🤔

One minute, she was trying to kill him (on the 999 call) the next she's harmless.

I don't think anything LB says can be relied upon.
