So she was a bully in high school, one ex with and NDA, and the assault on her current boyfriend. Yes she was very much the saint.

There must have been a very good reason why the CPS were still going ahead with her prosecution, maybe there was more on her record than the public knew about?
The woman is still dead. At 40 years old. I find it completely tragic.
That anyone would find themselves in a situation where that was their only option is harrowing. She had faults, made mistakes like we all do. Yes, she was charged with assault but didn't stand trial and as is the law and as we all deserve she was innocent until proven guilty and thank duck we all have that right.
The only thing she is guilty of is living her life in the public eye. Being constantly judged must be extraordinarily wearing. Facing her most shameful behaviours being played out must have been too much to contemplate.

As far as I’m concerned none of this would have happened had she not been reported for domestic violence.
No, I disagree. That's putting the blame for her death on a victim (proven or otherwise). That's like saying no victim should never report as their assailant may commit suicide (a large percentage threaten this in wake of regret of their actions).

Her death is heartbreaking, truly awful. But despite so many calling her a 'girl', she was a 40 year old woman. Caroline made decisions, many decisions many times. No one else can be blamed for her decisions. Reading what I have about the friend leaving her to have a quick trip out of the house, she was determined in her last decision. 😢

By your logic I should start saying Harvey Weinstein is innocent too then? How about Jeffrey Epstein? He never got to Court and killed himself, so lets start saying he was innocent too

The fact that the cps were still pushing forward with the case despite the boyfriends reluctance to press charges shows there was more than enough evidence to prosecute. All these people talking about ITV leaving her out to dry but what would the response be if Love Island and ITV had turned a blind eye to it? And where was their outrage when she lost her job at the time? Fact is, she was done for domestic violence and the fact that she’s a woman doesn’t mean tit. Stephanie Davis and Malin Anderson coming out all guns blazing and yet these are the same women who were also in abusive relationships and have posted photos of their injuries. The likes of Michael Barrymore didn’t get to keep their job, why should Caroline Flack? It’s devastating that she felt that desperate she would take her own life but all these celebs posting photos and spouting about what a kind soul she was, where were they in her darkest hour? No doubt distancing themselves from the negative media surrounding her court case.
Funny how you use Barrymore as an example considering the numerous times ITV has tried to resurrect his career - most recently on DOI

Apples and oranges.

You think that someone's friend saying she was a bully in secondary school makes her a bully and comparable to Weinstein or Epstein?

The difference between Joe on DOI and his obvious genuine upset and Phil ‘Tiny Tears Ken Doll’ crying over someone he never even worked with or knew unlike Joe. Never miss an opportunity eh Phil especially to make it all about you.

I have to say the general levels of virtue signalling by people jumping on the bandwagon is truly eye roll inducing. The celebrities who were so publicly quiet when the tit hot the fan who are shamelessly posting a photo of themselves with her in happier times and talking about what a beautiful soul she was? Do one. Why didnt you speak up when it would have actually made a difference?! And then there's a whole load of people referencing her when posting completely unrelated images. Two interiors accounts that I follow on instagram who I actually like have posted "omg so sad about Caroline" type posts...with accompanying immaculate photos of their show home-esque houses. WTAF?! One of those include the hash tags hincharmy, imahincher and ifyouknowyouknow. Seriously!!! Unfollowed...

It's not really though, is it? I wasn't saying she was as bad as those two monsters, just using them as a mere example that your argument was flawed with regards to calling her innocent because she never went to Court. Don't twist my words.

This made me so bleeping sad. That whole post she did made me sad-imagine confiding in someone (and I’m sure she considered who to confide in carefully, not like she would have just picked the first name in her phone book). Imagine someone coming to you for support and you telling them they are draining? So sad.

from what I can see Dawn O’Porter publicly supported her and I saw paddy mcguinness post a screenshot where he had messaged his support at the end of last hear. I’m sure many others may have done the same but I feel she could have done with the public support of other celebs. All these tributes now when they couldn’t bare to potentially have their careers tarnished by associating with her when the tit hit the fan for her makes me feel ill. From looking at tributes now it would seem she had so many friends but deep down I’d say the amount of good friends she had was very low-maybe she felt that way too.

very sad and complex situation

I’m looking at this from a different angle, having had very dark thoughts in the past, and been severely depressed. At times when I have reached out to friends and family, because my thoughts were so negative any advice they gave me I always spun it to be negative also. To the point where I would argue because I felt they didn’t want to really help, I was a lost cause and I felt that’s how they saw me and treated me when really they only ever loved me and were deeply concerned. But my negative head told me differently. Sorry for the waffle I’m not sure if I have explained that too well. So maybe in her head she felt she was draining,

Totally agree with all of this. What I don’t understand is why would the friend ‘pop to the shops’ when they had the ambulance out as CF in a bad way the night before? I’m sure the friend must be feeling bloody awful, but I just thought it to be a little odd.
CFs last insta post, the one with her dog I thought she looked incredibly thin and also on something. I can’t imagine this weeks alleged revelations about Lewis texting another woman and asking for a meet up has helped the situation either, after all she was extremely insecure about alleged cheating back in December as to why apparently this all kicked off in the first place. A very sad situation for all involved

I’m sure if she hadn’t killed herself we would have found Caroline on DOI or similar in 19 years. I’m obviously referring to his career in the moment.

I’m sorry but people can be angry with my previous comment. But why did he try and contact her fully well knowing she wasn’t allowed to respond?
I thought that too but didn't wanna say it. I feel like if she was in a bad state, that would've felt like torture for her as she may have desperately wanted to reach out but knew she would get in trouble.

No no you misunderstand me

Not because of the bloke. He was 100% right to report her. I think the others should have done the same when they were at the other end of her

I believe she did this because she had a case coming up and didn’t want to face it. X

I've been reading through this thread all day and it's exactly like the previous one, yous all arguing with each other, contradicting each other, how do you know this who said that, is that aimed at me, was you there, did you know her?? When you sit back and read it all from the beginning it's absolutely sad and a bit heartbreaking really!

I work in a customer facing role and am often subjected to abuse. I think the kind of mats that abuse me will be the first to share memes about "be kind always, you never know what they're going though".
Carolines law is a load of tank. It's just people saying say what I want to hear or shut up.
someone posted earlier that people drinking and taking c are 16 times more likely to commit suicide. That along with having mental health issues is most likely to have killed the love island presenter.

Don’t forget he’s an actor and he also was very quickly all smiles literally seconds later, unlike Joe. He was also really just slyly relating it to himself, just like his #BeKind post on Instagram not twitter, where he knows he would be slated.
