Instagram is pissing me off tonight. Everyone saying ‘be kind’ ‘you don’t know what goes on behind closed doors’ ‘don’t comment on people online’ ‘words have consequences’... FUCK OFF! She wasnt ‘trolled’ for not declaring ads or because people called her fat or ugly or a bad mum or said she dressed badly.

She was arrested and charged with violently abusing her partner. People called her out on social media; they called her out on her appalling behaviour because of something she actually DID. It wasn’t just people’s opinions. So yes, I’m sure she had a shitty few weeks since it happened and seeing people talking about it must have been devastating and hard to read. But she didn’t kill herself because people were ‘mean’ to her on social media 🙄
I think what's even more annoying than those plebs is people who assume speculative articles are based on fact when you don't actually know what happened that night, and that would've been the court's job to find out

The close friends and celeb mates posting tributes... doesn’t take much to scroll back to mid December for all of them and not one public post of support. Even if they’d wanted to their pr would tell them to avoid.

Has anyone seen what Andrew Brady has posted ?! Seems very angry and blaming a lot of people but he himself came out publicly and added fuel to the fire ... he isn’t as innocent either !
It's quite hard to read isn't it, just a stream of pure angst. Pretty heartbreaking.
Not sure how I feel about him saying to Lewis 'I loved her as much as you' though.... Bit odd.

yes I've heard that before. I think it's something to do with having a clear plan to get them out of their problems :(
And that the pain will soon be over. I never understood it before. I do now.

I went through a huge depression (now out the other side thank God although I still have rough days) and I was at the point, two years into it, where I was thinking about suicide a lot. I was physically and mentally struggling with everything. I never made any kind of attempt though, just thoughts. Like where would I do it, how, who would find me. But I was always too scared to even try.

But for me, I just couldn't face the emotional and physical pain anymore. Waking up every day and wishing that I hadn't. I cut myself off from friends and family. Spending all day in bed. Not going out anywhere. Not eating, washing, dressing. Barely even talking. Feeling so utterly worthless, useless and helpless.

I just wanted to be out of that pain.

The whole thing is so tragic. It’s obvious form her past relationships that she suffered with severe mental health problems. The reports of bouts of violence, verbal arguments and the like show someone who was fragile and unstable. But when people have MH problems they aren’t to be scrutinised or judged- it’s an illness. Who are we to judge? Have we walked in their shoes? Been in their head? I’m lucky because iv never had MH problems but I can’t imagine how it must take over everything, it must cloud your whole thinking. I posted on here when the news of the ‘attack’ happened, that my friend (who I won’t give away how) but she was involved in that night the attack happened) and from what she told me it was because CF had self harmed and LB rang the police after seeing her do that and she went ‘mental’ and physically attacked him for ringing the police. I believe that what my friend told me is true. I don’t know why the cps acted the way they did, maybe there is more to it. But it seems to me that that night was a cry for help and in Caroline’s own words ‘when she reached out for help people thought she was draining’ MH is hard for everyone involved and I find the whole thing, so very sad and utterly tragic. I hope we all reach out if ever we need help

Oh I know with the suicide thing but it’s the depression/BPD/anxiety people are throwing out I can’t see where it came from aside from her own actions with smashing the guy with a lamp while he slept x

Sure, but were there concerns before it all came out about the abuse?
I get what you’re saying, as if smashing a lamp over a guy’s head suddenly highlighted a specific mental health issue in an otherwise normal person. But it did for me. I’ve never watched LI or any of the shows she’s been on, but I knew of CF because of the men and her relationships. I remember seeing pics of her arguing with most of her boyfriends, in public, during the honeymoon phases.
This is not enough to claim she has mental health issues. However, because I’ve been in similar situations (but never got ‘caught’ for lack of a better word), the smashing a lamp screamed it out to me. The histrionics, the drama, the violence...why didn’t they say she was drunk, it was a terrible mistake, plead guilty, and move on? This is what baffles me. Ant was in the wrong but he admitted it. CF was trying to defend the indefensible.
I suspect she believed she was put into that situation, that if the boyfriend hadn’t been such a lying scumbag texting other women, she wouldn’t have behaved that way. She didn’t have the self awareness to see she was in the wrong and that’s why everyone is claiming MH.

I would never judge somebody for what they did when they were desperate, and erratic. I’m not justifying what she did, and I’ve been in 2 abusive relationships. But guys seem to get away with it. I’m tired of this cancel culture. She found her boyfriend cheating on her, and went absolutely mental. No one was there that night and knows what happened. And for all thebpeople posting nice comments now you can go fuck yourselves. 6 weeks ago you were telling her to go die. I’m so done with fake people on Instagram.

A loss of a life is horrific in any circumstances. For someone to take their own life they have to be in a very dark and hopeless place. Her life seemed to be spiralling out of control and it’s sad that she didn’t get the help she needed. But nobody actually really knows what was going on with her life and her mental health.I keep reading the word trolls and be kind but actually are any of those things responsible for her taking her own life we just don’t know but so many are assuming they do ??

As a suicide survivor with two young children I am devastated.

For people that say she did it for tabloids and media (which added to the pain) suicide appears as a black fog on your brain you dont think of your family you dont think of anything in life you are ALONE. I was lucky, she wasnt me and I thank God for that I was saved and my heart breaks she wasnt.

She was a beautiful person with problems. No one can say they haven't had their issues and pain. RIP beautiful girl you will always be close to my heart because I'm no celebrity but you dealt with a battle no one will understand while I dealt with a normal battle and I lost but was saved. You lost your battledd#] and the awareness and bravery you will bring to this world speaks volumes.

From one sufferer to another. Love and respect

Fed up with reading about how she was hounded by "the media"

This was a woman who tried to kill her boyfriend in the dead of night over innocent messages on his phone that she was reading, who when he woke threw the phone at him turned over a table and acted like a deranged person. Rightly she was about to prosecuted by the courts and who rather than be exposed took her life. It was nothing to do with "the media" it was to do with herself and her actions.

I don't doubt that at one point they slashed her tyres to get a reaction, but there's already harassment laws in place that it should come under.

This Caroline's law is so deeply flawed.

I wish they made a semi intelligent argument about strengthening harassment laws than hair brained ideas.

But mental health will never get the same respect physical health does. This will be another 5 minute thing where everyone focuses on mental health in the press ect because a celeb has commited suicide but in a months time noone will care about mental health again.
Its the same sad story every time. I have mental health issues and because I dont want to kill myself no mental health team will see me, so all I have is my GP. If I broke a leg the fracture clinic would see me regardless of how bad the break was, so why do people need to be at complete breaking point to get help for mental health?

All I can say is I hope Caroline is at peace.
Absolutely - i have both mental and physical health issues and if I could choose which ones would vanish for ever, I would choose the MH issues every time.

This is news is tragic but I'm having to step away from social media today as the hypocrisy, narcissism and mass jumping on the band wagon is extremely frustrating. I cannot believe the amount of people who are making this about themselves and not about Caroline it is absolutely vile... What have we as a society become 😥 I've seen people saying on stories 'be kind or..... Fk off' seriously!? Can they not see the hypocrisy in their own words!? So desperate for the likes and the engagement!
I'm so sick to my stomach with all these people 🤮
I am amazed at all these influencers jumping on this. Giving it all the ‘stop the Trolls’ ‘be kind’ in know what it’s like’
As you say turning it about them. No they don’t know what it’s like. Caroline had been a household name for 20 years. She put snippets of her life out there for all to see. These Influencers have been around for 5 minutes and post about when they take a shit and every moment of their life.
Caroline was dealing with something that not everyone could relate too. We don’t know what happened and who was or wasn’t around to support her. But these influencers comparing it to their life is horrific!

Fathers4justice should be considered an extremist group and treated with the same contempt. They absolutely lost sight of why they started and ended up nothing more than a hate group targeting anyone with a fucking vagina. I hate them!
Wow, I didn’t even realise they were like that. That’s disgusting and after looking through their feed, their new target is Chantelle Houghman. Clearly they’re not using their platform for the greater good, they just want to pick on anyone with a vag. What a bunch of knobs they are

I’d wondered on the previous thread if a male (alleged) perpetrator of domestic abuse would prompt the mourning Caroline’s passing has generated.
However I’ve been thinking about it. As we’ve seen with men across the public domain who have been involved in domestic abuse scandals, I can’t think of many who were subject to nearly as much vitriol as Caroline Flack and let’s face it, nowhere near as many men have faced any consequences from their actions.
Justin Lee Collins was pretty much annihilated and never recovered his career.

Again, jumping on bandwagons with absolutely no proof. I could write a Facebook post saying she only ate purple food and slept in a ball gown every night. It doesn’t make it in any way true!!
Well said, just look through this person's posts on here though, they have a very clear agenda against Caroline and probably women in general.
