I don't think anyones being naive in saying she was a saint, but for that woman to get the back lash, trolling, false stories printed that much to the point she felt there was no other way out.
The same papers that slated her will be the same papers & magazines that run the story tomorrow.
Its about time they shouldn't be able to print anything but SOLID FACTS.....THE TRUTH.

Disgusted seeing these z listers crawling out the woodwork claiming they were 'friends' with Caroline. Nicola McLean, Stephanie Davis, Kerry Katona, Lizzie Cundy, the list goes on. Stephanie glammed up to the nines with eyelashes longer than a tarantulas legs on Sky News insinuating that she was in regular contact with her before her death. Complete BS. Totally infuriating and completely disrespectful.

Those that did genuinely know her have put some lovely tributes and photos up on Instagram and they're so lovely to read.
So many have shared pictures with caroline. Not seen a single one from Steph davis. Seems she’s pushing her own agenda and using Caroline’s sad passing to fit that

A friend of a friend knows Lewis and the self harming rumour is true, that’s why there was so much blood.

I feel so sad to hear that she felt she had no choice but to take her own life. I wonder what David Williams will say given the joke he made about her at the NTAs. Even at the time it felt cruel and unnecessary.

I thought it had been reported that actually the blood was hers
According to my friend it was- she had actually tried to slash her own throat, that was how the whole thing came about. She read texts on his phone while he was asleep and began self harming with a kitchen knife. He woke and tried to stop her. The hitting him in the head with the lamp was as a result of him trying to get the knife off her and she picked up the first thing to hand to fend him off. Almost all of the blood at the scene was hers.

Mental health issues and drug taking is too blame. How people can blame the CPS and media is beyond me. Fir all we know it could’ve even been an accidental overdose.
What I find worrying is that her family knew she was in a fragile state and didn’t do anything. I think this is the problem when people become your enablers instead of getting you help

Such incredibly sad news. Any time someone thinks suicide is the only way out is a tragedy because things always get better.

The social media outpouring after a celebrity death is something that has always made me uncomfortable. People want to jump on a bandwagon, lots of z listers trying to establish what connection they had to her etc I find it hard to read.

I appreciate that people want to pay their respects but somehow it all becomes a circus. I’ve seen the bf has been posting on social media - if I were to lose my partner I can’t see myself picking up my phone for a long time or wanting to go on social media. But I suppose everyone is different!

Very sad for her family, I know from her posts that she had a sister and a niece - she must have been in a very bad place to want to leave her family. Not saying she’s a saint - just that it’s very very sad that she felt the need to take her own life.

Not sticking up for Ant but he had to step down from his presenting roles whilst he went to rehab and went through court proceedings, and Caroline Flack had to step down from this series of Love Island too, she wasn’t sacked
People are dramatising everything like always
How do we know that she wasn’t supported by ITV?
Regardless of their thoughts on the alleged incident I doubt they would even have to ask her to step down/ suspend her or whatever, with a Court case looming it’s unlikely she would’ve been able to travel to Cape Town to present LI anyway. So no action required by them really in having her replaced.
What has happened is absolutely tragic, I can’t remember the last time I felt so shocked. It seems like such a waste of a life and there’s so much speculation and blame circulating. The truth is none of us know what goes on behind closed doors.
I think it’s unfair to speculate and it’s also unfair to go after Ant claiming favouritism etc. Very different situations and as I’ve said we don’t actually know they were treated any differently.
For all we know Caroline could’ve been offered help and refused it - unlikely but possible.
She has seemed troubled for a long time, someone posted a screenshot of something from her social media saying she tried to reach out to a friend and was told she was draining. It seems to me that she’s been let down a lot closer to home than ITV.

It’s really sad that she’s killed herself and the reality is we will never now know what happened on that night. Hope her family and friends get all the support they need at this difficult time.

one thing I do find uncomfortable though is the double standards in the media/public opinion. People are
I feel grateful to never have felt suicidal. I just can't imagine how desperate, alone and scared you feel to consider it. It is very sad indeed.
I never thought I would feel suicidal either but had a few too many tragic events happen in my life and now my mental health is bad. I see no future. It’s horrible and I find it really hard to get proper care. Love ones do love you but doing crazy erratic things can scare them off.

If the paps/tabloids weren't stopped after Princess Diana, they certainly aren't going to be over this 😂 who do these people think they are and what do they think they will achieve. Hilarious

Fed up with reading about how she was hounded by "the media"

This was a woman who tried to kill her boyfriend in the dead of night over innocent messages on his phone that she was reading, who when he woke threw the phone at him turned over a table and acted like a deranged person. Rightly she was about to prosecuted by the courts and who rather than be exposed took her life. It was nothing to do with "the media" it was to do with herself and her actions.
Oh were you a witness to the events? No one other than Lewis and Caroline knew what actually happened. Everything else is after the fact.

It's very sad that from as far as I know Dawn O'Porter was the only one to publicly support her during her tough time. I've always liked Dawn and their friendship does appear so genuine.

Friends speaking out on social media to support her during those tough few months must have meant so much. Yet only one did. And now every celebrity and their sister are speaking out now that its too late.

A while back I had my Instagram account open. I use to want followers. I used the fact o was a single mum due to DV to advocate a persona and get followers. And then one day, I just looked around Instagram. And realised that it was full of the worst kind of people in life. Judgemental, two faced and bitchy liars. I realised some big IG’s posted on here quite often. They often would tear other women down. Give abuse. To make themselves feel better. After a feud with one writer, which got me a lot of attention but grief at the same time, I realised that it wasn’t who I am. I’m not going to be part of that. So I left. And it’s those same women today posting how sad they are for Caroline Flack under false names who actually tore her down. Where were you? Did you support? No.

Second point. Caroline Flack took her own life. But the CPS are not to blame. Yes they continued prosecute without the key witness. They pressed charged and took it to court. But it’s because we live in a 0 tolerance country for DV. The CPS will always pursue a case that is linked with DV. And thank bloody god they do. As a survivor of DV, I’m glad they do. To protect everyone. However, I don’t agree with how they have continued to deal with her, I think the British justice system and bail/remand or prior to court cases massively lets down those going through it. Caroline isn’t the only person who’s died whilst on bail. People take their own lives in remand/bail weekly. It isn’t something new. As humans we need to realise that all behaviour is communication and sometimes those who commit crimes or harm or abuse others need help. Not always. But sometimes. And In the case of Caroline I believe she needed help for a long time.

The fault is entirely with the British media and press, social media and people who think tearing others down makes them better! There’s a lot of people who I know will read this and yes it’s aimed directly at you. Every time you post, people read what you say. Once you put it down online it can be seen forever. We do not live in a kind society, we live in a society were we laugh at others misfortunes and bully the weak or kick people at their most vulnerable times. It knocks me sick the likes of Stephanie Davis crying on Instagram when they know full well they are no angel, you have been the bully. You have bullied. And it made you feel good at the time. There’s plenty of women “mourning” the loss of Caroline today, you’re making it about yourself. It’s not about Caroline, it’s not about me, it’s not about you. People are dying! Suicide is a real thing! We are the cause of it.

I hope one day it changes. But don’t believe it will.

Very sad to hear of Caroline’s passing suicide is an awful trauma for the person involved and especially for the people left behind . I have no idea of Caroline’s social scene and it appears she was back on anti depressants .Unfortunately IF the rumours are true of her alcohol and cocaine use are true and she has been a regular user for a long time that will override any anti depressants she has been taking . It is highly likely that her mental health was fractured because of her cocaine use , it’s as if she became blinkered into thinking her problems were un cocaine related .
I say this as a recovered user of both cocaine and alcohol. In my situation my selfish actions ended up costing me my home and family as hard as that was it was my wake up call . Unfortunately for Caroline and many others in the uk who are long term users of this awful concoction she either ignored any other close
brushes that her actions brought . Reading some of the posts about her previous relationships and lack of respect for her neighbours unfortunately Cocaine is a most selfish damaging drug . I saw the phone call was made at 5.25 in the morning , nothing good happens at that time of day . The thought of her life being played out in court would have frightened her so much . Part of me wishes she’d been caught having a line in a bar toilet and be cautioned would have been enough to change her ways . Sadly it did not . RIP Caroline .

I don’t comment on there, I don’t visit someones social media to tell them what I think of them or what I dislike about them.
Some people are acting as if a tattle thread directly pops up on someone's phone. We chat here so that we avoid their feeds and make it easy to ignore. Infuencers should be thankful for tattle that it makes it easy to avoid the critique, most of us in our work don't have that luxury. Nothing ever posted on tattle compares to the actual vile and hateful posts on the comments on social media.

With Caroline it's only public figures that want to stop anyone scrutinizing their shady behaviour saying it's comments on line that were the cause. They were saying this minutes after it was announced she'd died for fucks sake.

Yeah and Brock Turner isnt a rapist because he only raped a girl once and was drunk and totally didnt deserve any punishment or backlash 🙄 Caroline hurt Lewis intentionally - theres no way to excuse that whatever way you try and phrase it

But did she actually hurt him intentionally? Or did she lash out in the heat of the moment?

you seem pretty sure with you repeated damming accounts of what happened that night. Her boyfriend has repeatedly said the blood in the photos was hers, not his. Were you there that night that you can repeatedly make these accusations with confidence like you are? Do you know for sure exactly what went on? Better than the only other person that was there that night??

no? I didn’t think so

please stop preaching like you know what happened. You only know what you have read in the press and have made your mind up based on that

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but as much as I hate this guy he’s now getting pulled to shreds on twitter over this. Vicious circle!
And how many of those ripping him to shreads re-tweeted the "If you can be anything in this world, be kind" stuff earlier?! The irony.

All her celebrity friends banging on about how amazing she was and how they're going to miss her....... Why the fuck didn't you check in on her, drop her a text to say hi or a call to say 'are you OK? Do you need to talk about it?' or drop in on her and have a coffee or something!? If you were that much of a friend you would have made sure she was OK every step of the way through this trial she was heading into.
How do you know that they didn’t?? Unless you are in her circle how do you know what her friends did and didn’t do? Her friends could well have been checking in on her but she could have been giving the impression she was fine. People have to let you in in order to help them. It has been reported that a friend was staying with her and she had nipped to the shops when it happened. You can’t be with someone 24/7.

For what it’s worth, from the moment this thing started (the assault back in December), I said I believed CF had borderline personality disorder. Obviously I didn’t know her but a quick look at the symptoms appears to explain her behaviour:
Signs and symptoms
  • Fear of abandonment. People with BPD are often terrified of being abandoned or left alone. ...
  • Unstable relationships. ...
  • Unclear or shifting self-image. ...
  • Impulsive, self-destructive behaviors. ...
  • Self-harm. ...
  • Extreme emotional swings. ...
  • Chronic feelings of emptiness. ...
  • Explosive anger.
