Unless you were her psychiatrist, you cannot say what mental health issues she had or even hypothesis. Unless you were in the room with them you cannot say what happened that night and nor should you speculate. All I would say that for anyone to take their own life, they are in a desperate situation and can think of no other way to stop the pain they are feeling, for whatever reason.

The only thing anyone can say for sure is that you need to be in a very dark place to take your own life. That’s it. That’s all anyone knows for definite. It’s very sad. Why it happened only Caroline knows. The best thing for people to do now instead of speculating why it happened is keep suicide awareness at the forefront of the conversation along with discussion about access to mental health services both NHS and privately.

ITV say they have no comment to make. I bet her boyfriend drops the charges and it will all be brushed under the carpet!

The only people who can drop charges is the police. If you're attacked and the police get involved, it's not up to the victim to decide if charges are brought or not - TV dramas have perpetuated this myth.

An absolute tragedy for everyone concerned, her poor family. However, I struggle to see her as a victim. Her ex fiancé had to move to the other side of the world to get away from her and she accepted no responsibility for what happened in December, despite her boyfriend begging the police to come as he was in fear of his life. None of that is the fault of the media or online forums.

She'd have had much more favourable press if she accepted the negative aspects of her own behaviour and retired from the spotlight to get help to address it. And more importantly, she might not have ended up in a place where she killed herself.

She has relied on her looks for so long, especially her legs I’m surprised she wasn’t wearing her normal short shorts and booties like she does pretty much all the time.

Her alleged behaviour is so much worse than first reported. I wish she would stop trying to garner sympathy on insta with her posts. She should shut up and wait until the trial. Also the request to have bail lifted so she can spend time with her boyfriend. This is a woman of 40, not some teenager. They’ve only been dating since the summer. Many of us here have had our issues with Caroline Flack, not just the domestic violence allegations, and I’m sure many of us stand by our issues with her, I certainly do.

But none of us wished death upon her, and to hear she has allegedly took her own life is very sad.

Regardless of what she has or hasn’t done it’s still absolutely awful that she felt this was her only option and that she had nothing to live for. So awful for her family and friends too.

I heard that Ant got allowed to give a more pallitable story (addiction stemmed from injury rather than the less sympathetic truth of enjoying drugs too much) in exchange for the press not publishing about his extra marital affair(s). So it's not that he's necessarily more sincere, it's that he got allowed to control the story in a way Caroline hasn't. (If all of that is true. My source is a friend who works in showbizzy circles but not directly with Ant and Dec so may be horseshit!)

I’m inclined to believe this, hence why his ex wife is seriously battling him in court in order to stop a gagging order. There’s some dark shit going on with Ant I’m sure.
Caroline is a mess. She looks like she’s on her way to home from the pub It’s as if she doesn’t realise the seriousness of the situation.
