Imagine starting a new relationship and you have to sign a non disclosure legal document
whats that about she is not exactly an A lister?
With all due respect I suggest you read the news correctly. She has been charged with assault by beating and has a court date set for end of December.with all due respect we don’t actually know what she ‘did’. Shes not been charged which means there is no case to answer.
Yes, she is a grade A tit, but making assumptions and saying she needs to be charged isnt helpful in some ways.
Like anyone who suffers with addiction and MH issues, it’s always going to end one of two ways. She should’ve taken the Ant McPartlin route of saying she has problems with addiction, getting into rehab, getting professional help. Would’ve helped her personal rehabilitation and career image rehabilitation like Ant. As well as genuinely being the help she clearly needed. We could be hearing a different story, which would’ve been preferable
You clearly don't understand abuse. I was abused (sexually and physically) as a teenager, the police got involved after me disclosing the abuse. To the police and everyone else I said I had lied, I pretended I never said certain things, I sat in police video interviews and lied, I lied to social workers. I thought my abuser loved me and I did everything I could do to protect him and I made myself out to be the bad person. I made stories up about how certain pieces of evidence came about. Victims will go to any length to protect their abuser if they are still being abused. My old best friend was beaten up while 32 weeks pregnant by her boyfriend, she thankfully managed to ring the police and ambulance at that point she told them what happened. The next day at the hospital the police came to take a statement and she said it was a miss understanding, that she had tripped at the top of the stairs and fell down them. Sadly you cannot believe a victim when they change their story. Abuse is horrific and it's never just physical. It's also emotional/psychological, the power the abuser holds over you is insane, you aren't yourself anymore, you are an extension of the abuser, you are their puppet. For me, if the police, social services, teachers and youth workers listened and accepted my lies I would probably be dead right now.You are missing the point, if he was injured by her why then yes he was right to ring the cops for his own protection and get treated why is he NOW going around publicly saying that she didn't hurt him and claiming that she is the love of his life. If she attacked him and he thought she was going to murder him, should he not keep his mouth shut until the trial?
We can't judge a victims behaviour, everyone reacts differently, in this case it's national headlines, to protect her he must make it public. Some of the things I did looking back was bat shit crazy. No I don't think anyone should attack a 'victim' but he has behaved very oddly posting the bedroom pic etc, particularly when he stated it WASN'T his blood, giving the impression it's hers, fuelling rumours etc. I am making no excuse for CF, given my opinion of her before this was low and that she was a manipulator. I have no doubt the allegations of violence are correct.
Having sat in a 3 week trial as a jury member of women that were abused and raped by one man whilst in a relationship with him over a 30 year period, I've heard first hand how a victim can change stories to protect an aggressor before (if they can ever) be strong enough and free enough to break away. He's either that or seeing his meal ticket gp down the drain has made him panic. I have not one ounce of sympathy for Flack. Not one bit.
Probably not going to admit that you’re a drug dealer on Instagramalso it’s always someone whow ‘knows someone’ else who is connected. It’s never a direct connection.
The fact the case is being prosecuted despite Lewis Burton saying he doesn't support it shows the Crown is taking measures against potential coercive control seriously, as it should. If a man had done what Flack is alleged to have done to a woman there would be much more outrage. This is what frustrates me. If this was the other way round and the female party was saying it didn't happen that way, everyone would say that they are just protecting the abuser. It's no different. Most people don't call the Police the first time something happens and if they do, they tend to retract allegations because they are being manipulated, and don't see the bigger picture long term. I get that couples argue, but Caroline's public response to this shows no remorse whatsoever, which seems odd and concerning to me. Just my opinion.
The influencers are really getting to me too. Caroline was a presenter and media personality. She didn’t share every aspect of her life online every day of her life. She got papped when just going about her business, she had headlines and stories written about her by major media outlets. Some will be true some will be lies of course. She did something wrong and got dragged. She was an actual celebrity. There’s such a clear difference between her and these influencers.the woman is dead and I hate going back to this but.
this thread started because she was arrested for domestic abuse, that case was a serious case, and as others have pointed out if it had been a male that was arrested he’d have been dragged over hot coals by the public and the media.
Caroline received the same scrutiny, and I’m glad they treated her case in the same way they would a male despite the tragic ending.
Abuse is abuse.
but let me ask this, next time a celebrity fucks up, next time they’re caught with an underage minor, or caught getting abusive with their partner, should that not be reported on *just incase* the person involved might take their life.
And i’m not condoning any abuse sent to her, her family or friends.
but the conversation around her arrest and her actions needed to be held, despite how it’s turned out it NEEDED to be held so men and women know domestic violence is not ok and will not be tolerated anywhere, famous or not.
on another note it boils my piss seeing influencers using this as an excuse to drag gossip forums because we keep THEM in line.
such a pathetic thing to do on the back of someone’s death.
