On her podcast - which I listened to for the first time today to hear it but it’s in the tabloids now is don’t bother. They have really similar voices, and both complain a lot about their super privileged lives. And it’s 2 and half hours.

Incredibly obvious they had split. I wonder if he has gone back to LA. And what has happened to the upstate house they bought?
Are her and Michelle still as close I wonder? I saw somewhere that Busy wasn’t impressed she left her husband for the Hamilton director guy after an affair and announced she was pregnant suspiciously soon after they split. Can’t remember where tho…

Caved again and listened to her podcast this week. I have to say it was actually quite enjoyable. Obviously I skipped bits because who has 3 and a half hours dear lord

What I do want to have a wee moan about though is Busy is very open about the fact she’s struggling for money but her saying she doesn’t want to pay full price for Harry Styles tickets, I mean, c’mon!! It’s a bit tone deaf. Loads of ‘normal’ people can’t afford tickets for big shows like that and they can’t pull strings for free tickets.

Now someone is questioning Busy’s use of the word ‘daughter’ for Birdie FFS!! Birdie IS her daughter every day of the goddam week!! She gave birth to a girl, no matter how she now identifies (or doesn’t…kinda seems she’s just back to calling herself a girl now. She finally saw sense maybe?). Imagine questioning a mother on her use of the word daughter on SM

Her whole schtick is based on being best friends with Michelle. Had it not been for that friendship she would have just been another jobbing actress in LA making an utter tit of herself because she is ageing and no one wants to hire her.

I tapped in to her stories and she was crying because she didn’t know where to get the Gucci luggage Harry Styles had. Is this supposed to make her relatable because I just thought she looked spoiled and needed to get a grip.
Or was it a fake audition reel for crying, it was odd either way.

Kelly Oxford has been having a mid life crisis for at least the last 10 years. I remember her when she used to post moody selfies and got mad because the “me too” campaign got more attention than her “not ok” (or whatever it was called) movement. Then she hooked up with a much younger singer and started channeling her slutty mommy phase. All of her posts used to be about her got younger boyfriend. She is an embarrassment.

Think she worked for Busy’s show as a writer. Definitely think she was of a specific time and now just desperately trying to keep hold of her past fame/infamy.

She’s back to she/her and Busy has referred to her as her ‘daughter’ so safe to say she’s grown out of the non binary phase - quelle surprise.

I occasionally look to see what happened to Jen Gotch, she has entirely disappeared offline. Kelly Oxford appears to be having a midlife crisis and Busy doesn’t hang out any more.

Birdie is loving all the attention it gets her - although I don’t think Busy has managed to get a Harry Styles meeting for her yet. I think Cricket doesn’t want to be part of social media at the moment and at least Busy has always respected her kids views, but I think Birdie is putting herself out there for a world of trouble.

Remember when she had a 40th birthday that was basically a resort wedding - she is so extra. I’m amazed her ‘before she was famous’ friends still speak to her.

She had to get it in that ‘gender affirming care aka therapy’ was what helped Birdie come to terms with her identity. Well Busy, the TRAs would argue that therapy is not ‘gender affirming’ even if they go along with the charade of they/them’ing the person. It’s seen as bigoted or transphobic to even suggest a person speaks with a therapist about their identity because that would be questioning it. She isn’t as woke on these matters as she thinks she is.

I’ve never known a mother to idolise their child the way Busy does with Birdie. We all love our kids but she is so OTT with how freakin special and amazing she claims Birdie is. My god Busy, calm down!

And yeah I think Birdie has moved past the BS of the non binary identity and seems fully comfortable in herself as a girl. Which is great! But the KwEeR community will not let it go. This is the problem with announcing your kids fads to the world. They move on but the internet has her in that ‘category’ for life.

I realise this is super petty and judgmental, and I honestly love that Busy honours her daughters’ Jewish heritage by celebrating Hanukkah, but for it to be kosher, all the candles on a menorah need to be the same height and in a straight line, except the shamash (the one that lights the others).

I loved Cougar Town which was the first thing I saw Busy in and she was my favourite character - I thought she was hilarious. Laurie and Ellie are two of the most quotable and she looked great. I have also suspected she is getting divorced but maybe she is just keeping her husband in the background. She is definitely not sharing as much of her younger daughter but Cricket might not want her to, she has always abided by their wishes and when Birdie was younger she didn’t want to be on insta.

Oh I'm glad this thread is going again! Checked in here a few times but didn't wanna be the one to try and revive it I used to love Busy but she's so shrill and irritating now?! And the constant going on about Birdie is so annoying. She used to always be raving about Cricket, feel a bit bad for her cos now it's all about Birdie. Wouldn't be surprised at all if she was on the drugs.

Tbh I think Busy handled it pretty well - low key not making a massive fuss, but then pushing the trans propaganda because of that was a wrong step.

SO glad I found this thread! I just searched to see if there was anything on Kelly because she might be the most baffling internet presence ever. Someone repeatedly reported her insta, she is blaming her ex-husband in a roundabout way and tbh, I think he may be the culprit given that she's taken to disaparaging him publicly for $$$$$$$$$$. Who knows though? Things are apparently very bad for her financially but if you saw her lifestyle before, not to mention the amount of work she has had done, it feels churlish that she's begging for people to subscribe to her blog. Unfortunately, it's a fickle industry and I think her time has really passed and it's back to the real world for her. Would love to know if anyone has any goss though!
