I haven’t yet read all of the thread, however I am incredibly disappointed. In both her and Haven.

Haven for giving her s free holiday, but more so her for being so ungrateful & her in full Disney move. Yes Disney is very exciting but so should ever holiday/break be! I cannot afford to take my children to Disney, it makes me incredibly bitter & very upset I am not providing enough to my family.

Please don’t feel inadequate that you can’t afford Disney. I really feel that Disney itself has done such a number on parents (don’t think kids are that bothered to be honest!) it’s just a theme park, filled with tat, queues, overpriced food and adults sweating in an irrelevant Mouse costume! (And I say this as a theme park lover & merlin pass holder!) It’s not giving your child a magical childhood- spending ANY family time on holiday (even a wet weekend in Wales) will do that! These Disney mum bloggers are just feeding into this hype for their own gain - I.e free holidays!
On another note - Emma has been on trip after trip these holidays , so I really don’t understand her moans about how hard it is to entertain 2 kids for 6 weeks!! I’m currently “between jobs” and have unexpectedly been off with mine this entire hols with next to no money - it ain’t been that bad so far I actually feel sorry for her that she fears time with her own kids so much.

She’s in full Disney and Florida mode now. She’ll be vomiting Disney for the next few weeks. She was only obligated to mention haven because she was being paid for it. She’ll not mention it again once she’s done her half arsed haven vlog. I’ve emailed haven to say how disgusting it is that they gave her a free holiday and she’s barely mentioned or featured haven while she was there. Also that they saw fit to use a woman who is fully aware her family photos are being used on porn site but is continuing to upload more photos in the same poses and context. I doubt I’ll get a reply back and if I do it’ll be a generic one. My email won’t make a bit of difference but hopefully if more of us do it they’ll maybe start looking into it.

Cut her a break - she is doing her best with the running! She may annoy me on many counts but for gods sake if someone is doing their best that should never be criticised.

If she was publishing stuff saying “fuck me, this is hard but I’ve managed to run for 5 minutes and do a power walk for 30 mins” then I’d be well done babs, more than I’m doing sitting here with my flapjack and my brew. But she isn’t. She’s actually turned into the very thing that made her start her blog and YT.

By making out she’s running, she’s giving people and unrealistic expectation. How many women have watched the many Instastories, thought “I’m gonna try that” and then felt like utter shit because they couldn’t do it.

That was her USP, that she didn’t fit in. That she showed being a parent as it really is. Now she’s turned into everyone else. Look how fabulous I am running 5k, look how many Disney holidays I’m taking my kids on, look at how much stuff I buy them.

Doing her best isn’t why she’s being criticised, its the unrealistic representation that is being criticised.

I fully support anyone trying their best. I just don’t think she should imply she’s an expert in c25k when she isn’t able to run. The whole idea of the plan is to be able to run 5k in 30 minutes. By all means talk about ‘running’ and building up to 30 minutes. That’s much more realistic and probably more helpful to those wanting to try.

.... im calling bullshit on this one. why would she slow down when she was being filmed? shes meant to be showing her properly doing it. also running slowly because the kids were cheering her on?? thats meant to encourage you to go faster, bab....

also, stop now using your back and legs / feet as an excuse when we've seeing you do MULTIPLE disney holidays a year, a trip to new york, weve seen you on rollercoasters, jumping on a trampoline and also rolling around the floor during your takeaway dances.

I did manage to enjoy it eventually, thank you.

It frustrates me so much how she says these things off the cuff, a bit like the mental health/anxiety stuff too, to increase engagement when it’s not true.

I also suffer from severe IBS and people don’t realise it is debilitating. Another YouTuber I watch (Brogan Tate) says she has it, yet she ate so much fried and high fat food on her recent holiday there’s no way I would be able to eat that!

I have a 10 and 9 year old and neither of them have access to instagram and neither of them would think to look for photos of someones mom at school. They also would never ever rip the piss out of any of their class mates for something they saw their parents do.

I fell in the play ground in front of everyone all my kids class mates and not one of them took the piss out of my kids for it at all it wasn't mentioned again.

I think you have a very rose tinted view of what goes on at schools up & down the country. Just because your kids don’t have internet access doesn’t mean that other children of the same age don’t.

Oh jeez, Emma come on. We had a pretty big referendum in Scotland about 5 years ago on this And although there are many of us that would like to see Scotland independent, we still are part of the UK. I feel like she’s quite uninformed about the world/politics/current affairs in general, just get that vibe. I would love to see some of these influencers talking about what’s actually really going on in the world (like the impending Brexit for example) but clearly doing a dance in your wedding dress with some prawn crackers is far more thought provoking
