Just my opinion, but it's not his birthday. The mass commercialisation of these types of days just gets on my wick. She could get the kids involved in making him a card (she's got a ton of crafts and stationery for starters) and buy him a bar of dairy milk or a four pack of beers. She's always so extra!

like you said, why is BABS choosing steve's father's day gifts? anti-snoring pillows - which essentially benefit HER - or at least, that's the story she's fabricating, so steven has basically been bought a "present" for content. they will be put on babs' bed with a fake head in print and early morning stories about how steven's snoring has improved. it's not even about ste - as always, it's about HER. it's like the drill she bought him for their anniversary. imagine if steve bought her her an ironing board for mother's day!

surely father's day gifts would be far more meaningful if your child made you a card or gift, or at least CHOSE the present?! the kids weren't even involved in wrapping the presents, ffs! why doesn't babs focus on buying rog the dodge presents for father's day, and let the kids get involved with celebrating their own dad?! i mean, we're they even allowed to write in his card, or has babs written it for them, because they're toddlers who will just make a mess? i imagine ethan would have loved to get involved with some father's day crafts, but babs just can't be bothered to put the effort in! she could easily have set him up this morning to make his dad a card, rather than shoving the ipad in front of him and whinging at the camera.

That's what I do, or watch something else with my earphones in! I don't need to physically remove myself to another room because (shock, horror) members of my family like things I don't. This is exactly what she was like over the Minecraft thing, sulking upstairs because Ste and the kids love it and she doesn't

it's not brummy daddy either, so cue babs making father's day ALL ABOUT HER. she'll fully expect praise and appreciation for the fact that SHE bought him presents - anti-snoring pillows, which in no way relate to steve's relationship with his kids - and that SHE wrapped his presents, etc etc. i doubt he'll even get a lie in the big bed, despite it being father's day, because saturday is his opportunity to sleep in, so babs isn't going to forfeit her own lie in - and by lie in, we all know that means that she will lie in bed, wide awake, scrolling tattle and filming gurning stories. steve will be ordered to get up with the kids and make them breakfast etc as usual, which will be nothing in comparison to the tiki room she forced everyone to create for her on mother's day, totally laden with gifts because obvs she deserved it all, since SHE birthed the kids and they wouldn't even exist without HER. as for steven, a couple of pillows chucked his way - that's father's day sorted!

also, that meaningless little "i know this weekend may be a little hard for some of you missing dads" is hugely minimising the struggles people face on father's day - not just those who "miss their dad", but those who have lost their father, who have grown up without a father or have no relationship with their father, and also for dads who have lost children or have no contact with their children or are unable to have children. she made a huge deal out of single mothers on mother's day, implying they were somehow different from mothers in general, yet no mention of single fathers, or families with two dads etc - although not surprisingly, since she packed in her pride month stories after less than a week. ultimately, babs has absolutely no concept of experiencing either fathers or mother's day without a parent, so her glossed over "it must be hard for you" bullshit reeks with the stench of "but i'm SO Lucky to spend the day with my dad andy kids have their dad" etc etc. she tacks it meaninglessly onto the end of stories because she feels she "should", not because she bothers to consider how hard the day is for so many people, or actually gives a duck.

The fact she’s lying about being chatty and friendly is backed up by people on here who’ve met her at her meet ups (and have since seen the light) or seen her in the wild.

I was one of the first to arrive and out of politeness I asked her if she wanted a drink.

At some point in the not too distant future, her kids will be reminiscing / remembering the last time they did something and will have a lot of “oh, Mum wasn’t there” or “oh you missed that because you were filming on your phone” moments.

Imagine at the next World Cup, 11 year old Ethan saying “remember when we watched the England Scotland game at the Euros” and all the family can join in with stories of funny moments from when they were watching…except babs. Destined to be the outsider in her family because of her own selfishness.

No amount of “twinning” and “loving so hard” is going to make up for the natural moments she misses. But at least she has some faked pics and vlogs eh?

as for the climbing adventure thing. She needs to Keep telling herself she doesn’t have gender stereotypes because her thought process is waaay back in the fifties for that one. Like she had the tacky quaint tiki role play. She’s not the wife is a homemaker/man is bread winner but only because she’s too damn lazy and selfish to properly parent ans spend time with her kids.

I'm sure she's said that previously, yet yesterday didn't go and is going to see him in a 'few days', seems a bit non specific, she's barely mentioned seeing her Dad for a few months now...
