HVs aren’t qualified midwives. Some might happen to be but that’s not the same. Like if MOD needs to get a new job now.
However it is totally irresponsible to tell strangers on the internet to ignore a health practitioner’s advice

Health visitors are qualified and registered nurses or midwives who have chosen to gain additional training and qualifications as specialist community public health nurses (SCPHN - HV). Their additional training in public health enables them to assess the health needs of individuals, families and the wider community to promote good health and prevent illness.

I'm proud of the latest two. Might have them on a double page spread in my poetry book, make the pink side all glossy and beautiful and I don't know about the blue side - maybe take a tit on it?

She is disgusting! As a family support worker, in inner city Birmingham, I would say at least 80% of our referrals come from health visitors. With all the cut backs, health visitors tend to be the only consistent and the ones that know families better than anyone! Many of my case load would have been missed, if it wasn’t for the HV and the family being able to confide! She should be encouraging her followers to seek this support, not put them off it! She needs taking off the internet with her recent actions!
It’s culturally insensitive as a phrase that has been hijacked from Native Americans by white people. Like white people wearing Native American headdresses, Indian bindis, African protective hairstyles like corn rows or braids. It’s taking a culture and concept from a minority group and bringing it into the mainstream when it isn’t yours to take or use.
