As a sexual assault survivor, this is so infuriating. Babs wants to be "woke" and thinks she's a "feminist". Well maybe instead of spitting her dummy out over the wedding dress tat, she should wake up to more important issues.
From looking at a couple of actual feminist Instagram accounts today - and my own personal experiences -
For every 1000 rape incidents (not made up one's real ones) only 2 rapists will be convicted and do prison time.
Women are still mocked and ridiculed by the police when reporting rape and not taken seriously.
Women's specialist counseling services are still struggling post COVID (still waiting for mine to resume!)
There is a real lack of support and specialist services for smear tests specifically for rape survivors - longer allocated slots, avoiding using trigger words etc. Though I'm guessing Babs is one of those smug cunts who boasts "it doesn't even hurt, just like back and think of England".
But sure Babs, don't be fuming over any of this and whine about "the patriarchy" over a piece of plastic tat in a shop

So if Babs was to see the picture of the Tory party leadership contenders published in the Times (spoiler: it’s in The Times so Babs is never likely to) with Penny Mordaunt in a swimsuit it’s likely that Babs would think/say that Penny had been influenced by the Kebbaba herself to be her youest you (and #addabelt obviously) while Ste would monotone ‘you go girl’ - neither of them would consider this as the everyday sexism that it is (and nor, sadly, could they probably comprehend that).

definitely an odd choice to include, although i assume it was shared be it was based on a BBC article. props to the BBC for not simply deleting the post and all the critical and sarcastic comments - mainly because it's a hilarious read! despite her initial excitement at the post being shared, i bet babs is absolutely FUMING that the BBC haven't stepped in and imposed her block/dletee boundaries, in the way that she's used to companies she's worked with sharing her appalling ads and deleting any critical comments.
i imagine BTEC Paul has been subject to an influx of pre-scheduled emails sent by a raging babs in the middle of the night as she monitors the comments on her own posts, to ensure hundreds and hundreds of comments are deleted during the night so the babettes don't read them, yet clearly his begging has had no impact on the BBC account! i wonder if he followed babs' lead and tried to bribe them to remove the post, with promised reward box treats!
babs was recently bragging about how she had allowed "healthy discussion" on her original post, yet i very much doubt she's supportive of the healthy discussion amongst the comments on the bbc100women post, who, unlike babs, obviously prioritise freedom of speech and allowing people to share their opinions, as even reminders of her DV jokes etc remain in situ!
the only thing i can criticise about the bbc's handling of that post is their failure in inaccurately attributing that copy-and-paste bikini quote to Emma Conway!

i'm actually surprised that she didn't simply state her chub rub shorts were a size 18! according to this sizing chart, i can't remember her height - but i'm pretty sure she falls into the middle category - she's a minimum size 20 with the potential of being anywhere up to a size 26. regardless, it's pretty clear that she's #NOTasize18
