Loved the xmas episode, Damon opening that present!
Harry and Ralph and friends getting pissed!
If I remember, the next year there's some big stories coming, especially Sheila?

Me too! I’m an 80s kid and I think looking back, the style was a lot more frumpy than it is now.

I quite like the clothes Heather wears and I can’t help but think they had her character sort of bucking the trend of what women or working women wore in those days

Just caught up, the aids storyline was very good played by Josh from casualty!
Then we had poison Pearce from London's burning turn up, and yay, looks like Pat is leaving!

I've just caught up on latest 5, (wish there was10), am finding some of it abit odd, like when flowers were delivered for Heather, her husband just read the note, then there was nothing, no scene of him asking her who they were from

think he knows its his boss though seeing as he was coming onto her before?
but I agree, some episode feel like somethings been missed or skipped a chunk of story

I've been enjoying the few episodes we get weekly!
Sheila, I'd forgotten about the pregnancy, and we know she would have kept it.
Pat is a twat, do they leave soon?
Heathers new husband, that was soo rushed! His daughter giving Rob a lovebite, marking her territory, I used to hate lovebites, thought they were gross!!
Annabelle and Paul, waiting on (new head) Gordon and his friend, they really did struggle with his sexuality, how times have changed! And he called him a poofter!

Does anyone know what the schedule is ? Is it like the other classic soaps 2 episodes a day?

STV Player are showing 10 episodes per week, I think they are available from a Tues or Wed.
You can watch all 10 in one sitting.
I'm no techie but I think there are nearly 3,000 episodes of Brookside, and putting all those on their Player, available all at the same time, just wouldn't be possible.

Brookie and Corrie were institutions in our house, so loads of happy memories sat watching with our Mam.
So been watching from the start for the pure nostalgia hit, weird warm filming just seeing the 80/90s interiors haha.
Something I never noticed first time round though (and it is petty haha) wtf is with the same generic tune/tunes clearly made for the show?
Kids have posters of artists from the time, and reference listening to them and buying their tapes, yet its always the same shite tune (set me free why don't you babe or some shite). See its even stuck in my head haha, like they could afford to go shooting on location (Spain, Barbados etc).
Yet they clearly didn't want to pay the rights to use real music from the day, no matter what the setting, pub, club, kids rooms, everywhere the same fckin tune. There's real tunes from the day in the South spinoff with Tracey, yet back to monotone back in Liverpool.
In the mid to late 80's ones, it was like some rockerbilly type shite the kids always seemed to have on, how old were they 60?
Sorry for the rant, but once you've heard it, you can't not notice.

I’m looking forward to all build up to the body under the patio and when things get a bit crazy in the late 90s with all the gangsters and explosions . I know I have ages to wait.

He's a miserable git but how kind and caring is Barry towards his Mum?
I've read this was a big reason why Ricky Tomlinson left, Bobby was so awful to Sheila, which was a great shame as the were the original brookside family.
