Also, the way Kamri worded that thank you made it seem like they ended period poverty for good. When in reality the money they raised will probably only help a few people for a few of their cycles. Its gonna take much more than that RV trip to end period poverty girl.
For a “smart” one she’s awfully dim… bragging how they ended period poverty… just because you travelled in an RV and raised money doesn’t mean you ended period poverty… it’s still a problem, you just threw money at the situation instead of using the platform to actually to do something useful.
i agree, the ending notes from bailey and kamri show how immature and out of touch they are. Neither drove ever, they laid around in the rv every day. Must be so exhausting going on vacation for a month… lol mentally and emotionally exhausting???? How about all those people you were raising money for? They don’t get any of those luxuries!!
And then they have the audacity to say "one of my horror period stories was when I was on a CRUISE and didn't have any tampon and can relate to this cause". Like sure, period poverty affects people who goes on cruises.
I also found it weird that Kamry said the first time she got her period or one of the first times, she only had 1 pad to make it last for the whole day and this put her off wearing pads and has never uses one since, like HOW??
