Completely agree that she only went to vote so she could jump on the bandwagon of taking a picture of Bonnie outside the polling station - typical Brogan though in being about 5 years late to this particular party.
I have no issue if she votes Conservative, anyone is entitled to vote however they want and I'm all for people voting rather than not (even if she has for a rather shallow reason). But I would give her so much more credit if she used her platform in a way that encouraged/reminded people to vote today, even if it was just a quick post on her stories rather than another vapid self congratulatory post which is what she has just done. But when has Brogan ever looked at the bigger picture and thought about more than just herself and how she could encourage people to do more and take action which can change their lives for the better? That would be far too overwhelming for her.

I think she saw Georgie for a walk around the field on her birthday, she gave her a butter dish with bees on it.
She’s unmotivated because she does NOTHING. I would love to have her free time to spend in the gym etc, it would do her the world of good and she might get talking to new people.
Her life consists of waking up whenever she feels like it, lazing in bed, watching tv, playing the Switch, getting up to take Bonnie out to the garden, she skips breakfast, drags on some rags to walk to the field followed by scrolling and lazing, occasionally pretends to work, posts on Instagram, eats Quorn nuggets for lunch, more lazing, an afternoon walk to the field if she can be arsed before a pizza for tea and 6 more hours of hiding under a blanket on her own.
On a rare day she will get up and pop to Primark but there’s only so many times you can browse around Home Bargains. I would be unmotivated and miserable too.

I think she’s been seeing her on the sly, hasn’t mentioned it in case people call her out for breaking the rules as they did when she had her brother round her house

She’s only a downer because she’s had her shopping fix and has been left wondering what now? The realisation that this is her life has probably hit her and seeing everyone else out living will trigger her.

Motivation comes from yourself!! I find I feel much happier and motivated in a clean house for example... I’m WFH for the most part these days and today I dropped my child to school, did a quick Aldi shop and got petrol on my way back then spent the morning working. I’ve just done the little bit of washing up, hoovered the whole flat and I’m having a quick coffee now while on here and then have 15 minutes to wash all my floors before I have to leave to collect him (only the kitchen, sitting room, hall, bathroom and toilet room as the bedrooms are carpeted so won’t take long) Plan is to wash my way out to the front door and go, they’ll be all dry by time we get back then and without being walked on. Then I’ve an afternoon of working at my laptop (After I get the kid a snack typical boy always hungry!) and this evening will make us a spag Bol (from scratch though Brogs, no sauces or sugar here!) followed by showers etc. and chilling watching TV/Xbox for him after homework. I have some clean clothes to sort today too. Tomorrow I’m in the office and with the cleaning done during the week it means we can chill, go out and about or whatever all weekend.
Who the duck has the TIME to be bored/unmotivated???
Ive been feeling a tiny bit not myself the last couple weeks, bit fed up in a way and decided to start making the effort this week to put a bit of makeup on as I’d not been for almost a year, lockdown life, and it’s also cheered me up no end!

When my nail lady had a baby I bought her some flowers , but I’ve been going to her for 3 years and a manicure is my only vice so I get one every month .. but I would never think to buy her some tools .. I’m not a nail technician - I have no idea what is good or useful and neither does brogan
Getting her a present is a very nice gesture because it has been tough for businesses but why not some choccies or some flowers ??? As you said you wouldn’t buy your hairdresser scissors or your dentist one of those mirror stick things !
She gave her a gift as a bit of a housewarming present because she had moved her nail business into her spare room.
