I think they’ll just be a throuple there in the house forever. They can’t let Aoife go when the new baby arrives, they need childcare help and they won’t pay for it.
Aoife is happy enough living with them probably and is around the children that she birthed. None of us could do what she’s doing but she doesn’t ‘seem’ bothered. Who knows. She has a heap of sisters than should stand up for her but she’s there, expecting a second, cleaning and cooking and childminding.
Meanwhile Brian literally passes Dunnes every morning with his Cup Of Tea…ya know Dunnes have been selling pyjamas for a fair few years now Brian and they’re good enough for most people.
No bother to him flittin around the streets tOlking about baby things…he has no fear of going through the impending childbirth.
How about pick a few presents up for Aoife there while you pass all the shops: if he did we’d hear about it.
Treated himself to a Jo Malone recently…HIMself, not Aoife.
God I’ll have to stop and go and do my shop lol. It’s too maddening.

I can’t understand how Aoife isn’t living with her Dad and resting up whilst waiting on this baby. Why is she in living with the two of them and Blake, she doesn’t need to be. It would give her some distance to be away from them and easier to make her future plans from there.
The last few times she’s been on stories she’s looked so tired. That’s okay if you’re a woman having your second baby in your own family, you make those sacrifices and it’s hard going.
Just because she says she’s okay doesn’t make it right.
But she is providing them with their forever family and living with them as a babysitter and cook no doubt.
I’m sure Blake was left with her today while the two best dressed men in the world went sniffing out a place for yet another (totally unnecessary) baby shower.
It’s just bizarre.

Actually I’ll have you know Brian does blue steel posing with Pipsy, he opens the wine all of the time and pours her drinks - he’s known to cook pizzas or steaks in their outside kitchen too. He does so much! Except work!

There’s always a big fuss about the first (Altho I personally think baby showers are an absolute pile of nonsense) but once the second comes along, it’s usually a oh lovely congrats & move on with life. The notions of these pair is ridiculous. An excuse for a booze up with freebies.

These 2 won't last .. Brian is obnoxious and Arthur seemsto tolerate him, but that wont last forever. They'll break up and I hope they have their affairs in order before the shit hits the fan . I don't know legally where everyone stands right now, but I hope they sort it soon before the baby bubble bursts, reality sets in and Arthur realises he's a single dad already. As for Aoife, I jusr really hope she is strong enough for what's ahead .

I agree Brian seems awful, but a lot of couples work because you've got one obnoxious one and one kind decent one that panders to the obnoxious one. In the round they are both family men who adore their mothers and sisters and wanted to raise their own child near family. To me that's a pretty good foundation.

I think sometimes people think because they are gay that their relationship must be completely superficial or seem to think they just met yesterday or that they couldn't possibly understand what's involved in raising a baby, despite being together decades and living surrounded by their (much loved) neices and nephews.

Brian is an absolute dose but I find it hard to pick apart their fathering abilities or the longevity of their relationship.

The house they are renting has the option to come furnished or unfurnished so I'd say they have opted for the furnished one. Also I'd say they will want to be back in kildare in the k club but obviously they couldn't get a mortgate to purchase the house they were in .

Brian is working on the radio over a year and still cannot work the desk so I doubt he will be bothered learning to drive

Over the past year of being relentlessly bombarded with those two, I began to realise Brian was actually quite an unpleasant character, and not always in a way you can put your finger on if that makes sense. Being on the radio, a pretty cushy job especially during a cost of living, admitting you can’t really be arsed to learn your job properly and treat your colleagues like staff just cemented my opinion of him. That’s really not the flex you think it is Brian. I’m not Arthur’s biggest fan, finding him annoying and insincere, but I find Brian sneering towards him in videos and their relationship uncomfortable

It is also very on-brand for them to be showing off how quick they apparently got the new place and the only real issue was Brian not driving, in an area where most people can’t even get on a mass viewing of 100 people, let alone a move date. Just incredibly tone deaf and self absorbed as always.

I really think it’s amazing that aoife or anyone for that matter would be a surrogate like hats off!! But as I sit here just finishing a night feed looking at my baby who’s only a few weeks old I just can’t understand how that poor woman can carry a baby and just hand he/she over to them when born. I could not imagine doing it a few weeks ago when I gave birth myself. Like do these women just ignore the fact they are growing a baby and force themselves not to create a bond the whole time?! Can’t get my head around it! Find it really sad actually. I spoke to a midwife one time and she was saying how babies know their mams voice, their heartbeat, even their smell and it’s so true cause when my baby is unsettled all I have to do is talk to her, put her on my chest or hold her close etc and she settles. Not for her daddy not for her nanny but for me her mam! I often wonder how these surrogate babies get on having that taken away from them and can’t help but think do they miss what they’ve been used to for 9months? Again hats off to any woman that can do it but doing it and being so involved in the children’s life so much for the rest of your life has to be tough I don’t care what anyone says but that’s my opinion I guess! I wish them all the best and really hope aoife is ok, she’s a strong woman!

Edit to add: like you’d wonder what these women be thinking and how they feel with hormones and everything like imagine aoife gave birth and found it too difficult to hand the baby over would she feel like she had no choice and just had to? How sad would that be. What if she wants to be a mam one day how would she even explain the situation to her own kids? What if she wants to become a mam but she couldn’t carry if there was complications? So many questions!!

Honestly I’m disgusted at this because firstly he doesn’t know what a Hurley is and secondly, how in the name of God is this man any way sporty? FFS look at the GAA ambassadors we have if we’re going for mixed race Irish people like Sean Og, Jason Sherlock, Lee Chin, etc. Arthur isn’t a good fit for the GAA.
