I would love to post my local booty therapist lady on here, she looks like a frozen piece of fish. I won’t but you can imagine.Loool. That is another thing to check out! I looked at all their IG accounts to see what the outcome for people was. If all the clients looked frozen that was a big no...obv some people want that look but not everyone does.
That’s what I wanted but then after I had it the movement still annoyed me and looked a bit weird (this may have been down to the dr though!). So I went back and got more done so I was completely frozen. Looking back I should have just stick to the mild botox but it’s hard to tell when you’re looking at your own face at the time! I had minimal bruising, maybe one very small yellow bruise that was easily covered. Took about a week to set in and you feel some tingling but it’s not unpleasant. You’ll also get an urge to raise your eyebrows everytime you go past a mirror to see if you can still do itSo like I said, I am booked in for my consultation in a few weeks and am excited but also a little nervous.
Has anyone else on here had "baby" Botox - so you can still make expressions but lines are much softer? I think that's the look I am wanting.
How were you after the treatment? Any bruising? I know you can't exercise for 24 hrs or so after.
also did family notice you got botox?
You can just get your 11’s done if you want. I didn’t find it painful tbh.Can I ask when you get the 11 lines done, do they just inject into them or is it the whole forehead? Also, is it painful?
Thanks!
I just booked my consultation today but it's not until JuneJust thought I’d come on and say I went ahead and got Botox about 3 weeks ago, and I absolutely LOVE the results! I really wish I had done it sooner
I got forehead, frown lines and crows feet. I had a check up after 2 weeks and needed a little more as I have quite a prominent forehead and it needed tweakingI just booked my consultation today but it's not until Junewhat area did you get done?
Soo can you still move your face? Just wondering, I would still like to retain some movement but equally want the treatment to do what it shouldI got forehead, frown lines and crows feet. Do your research when it comes to injectors... don't just cheap out. A good one will know where NOT to apply botox so you do not get droopy eyes.Soo can you still move your face? Just wondering, I would still like to retain some movement but equally want the treatment to do what it shouldI think I'd probably do forehead and frown lines, but I'm not even sure if I'm a good candidate for it as my eyebrows are quite low, heard botox can make this worse
I haven’t got a lot of movement in my forehead but I actually like it like that - it resembled a crinkle cut crisp beforehand as it was so wrinkly, it’s lovely and smooth nowSoo can you still move your face? Thanks, I think the place I found is good with a medical professional doing the treatments but it's useful to know and good that I can still possibly have the treatment and avoid droopy eyes as long as its done wellDo your research when it comes to injectors... don't just cheap out. Facial movement depends on how many units you get... if you still want movement, you tell the injector that and less units will be used.
Thank you, yes with the consultation first I'll be able to ask all this I guess. I was actually thinking about the sunglasses thing today as it was so sunny, thought it probably would be hard to squint with botox!I haven’t got a lot of movement in my forehead but I actually like it like that - it resembled a crinkle cut crisp beforehand as it was so wrinkly, it’s lovely and smooth now
I can still frown, and still have movement around my eyes. I do need to wear sunglasses if I’m outside though as I can’t squint very well! I only had a small amount put in the first time, but after 2 weeks (that’s the amount of time it takes to get the full effect) and I went for my follow up, we both decided that I needed more in my forehead.
When you have your consultation, tell the nurse or doctor what results you are hoping for. They will advise you on what places on your face would be best to have the Botox. I hadn’t considered my eyes but I’m glad I had them done now!
I wholeheartedly agree with this, definitely do your research when it comes to a clinic/injectors. I could have had it done for cheap by my neighbours friendDo your research when it comes to injectors... don't just cheap out. I looked for a plastic surgery clinic that has been around for years - not a trendy new injection place that's just popped up. And I looked at their, the plastic surgeon and injectors qualifications that were listed. I made sure the injector is not just a registered nurse who decided to do botox, that she's actually registered with the American and Canadian Plastic Surgery Society, she is also a certified aesthetic nurse specialists which is not common in Canada. She is trained properly on the structure of the face which is very important when it comes to botox placement to avoid droopy eyes etc. I also wouldn't go with somewhere just because it's cheaper. When it comes to your face, cheap is not the answer lol.How do you find someone good? All the websites I’ve looked at all look great so not sure how to tell the good from bad!
