So what if it’s shite… I took my youngest to smiggle with vouchers she had and topped it up by £20 and she left swinging ber wee bag full of “tat” with a massive smile. We went for dinner at her choice of place and sat and played with all of it waiting on pizza. Did I want to spend £20 on scented pencils and fidget spinners? No… did I want to go to a chain restaurant for average pizza? No… but i got to spend quality time with my baby and she had the time of her life. Honestly can’t get over how fucking horrendously selfish she is. She is such a bloody awful parent who does the bare minimum… I dread to think how mentally fucked up those kids will be when they reach adulthood because the pair of them can’t see past their own noses.

As you said, we do these things for the quality time we get!

Looks like S has some new clothes from next courtesy of S parents. Sleepover rearranged for next weekend. Bought S the hopper to “help with her balance”. A bestie dropped off a helium tank at 2am so she got a reduced balloon. Showed us how to make a carbonara and went into the loft through the hatch

BM can’t have actually had any fun as a child or gone on/had any sleepovers?! Seems normal behaviour to me. Can’t believe she couldn’t even cook or take her make up off because she was so horrified at the noise
And I don’t understand the need to upload so much to her stories of what should be private, those girls have no control over what is being shared of them.

Shouldn’t there be some sort of insulation between ceiling and then floor of attic? I’m no builder but my attic is crammed full of insulation and when I had it boarded out for storage they left the insulation down and boarded on top. Just seems strange there is no scrap of it anywhere…then again all the hot air comes out of her they won’t need it
