You are really bad for my bank account. Also purchased. I have heard only good things about this book.

Thank you!
I'm going to have to buy it now too. I noticed last night it was on offer.

Also in regards to your cheap physical book question. Ive bought a few recently for £2. They seem to come up on my Amazon home page if I just scroll and go in and out.

Ive read a few chapters of Lenni and Margot already and I think I'm going to love it.

Read the club by ellery boyd (people like her) and Dani Atkins new book six days.

ashamed to say they’re probably the first books I’ve read all year. 😞 hence my avoidance of this thread.

That was our book club pick last month. Intrigued to see what you thought of it.

ooo i hugely enjoyed this one sky day - i’ve never read a book quite like it. let me know what you think as i’ve never met anyone else who’s read it!
Finished it over the weekend, yes it was amazing, like you say, like nothing I've read before! So surreal and comic but heart breaking. The pum-pums falling off 😂

Black Cake is on the 99p kindle daily deals. I'm enjoying it so far so Id recommend. I used a full audible credit on it, typical 😂

Greenwich Park is also £1 and I'd also recommend it, one of the better thrillers I read last year.
Arghh I promised myself I'd get through my TBR list before buying anymore books and then I come on here and am totally influenced 🤣

Has anyone read The Paper Palace? I see its on a 99p deal also.
Yet another one I was influenced to buy recently as well as Lenny and Margot. Looking forward to getting stuck into them soon.

I am so sorry for enabling. I am trying myself to only buy books that I really want to read. There's been quite a few on daily deals recently Ive walked away from because I knew I wouldnt read them anytime soon.

I bought The Unhoneymooners in physical book lasy night as it was only £2 on amazon. I can pass it on once Ive read it. Its arriving today.

Ive read 25% of Lenni and Margot already. 😭

I just bought The Paper Palace too, this thread is terrible for my TBR list and bank account 😅

I’ve started The Girls Are All So Nice Here which I think I got because it was discussed here. I’m only 10% in but I’m already getting impatient wanting to know what the big secret is 😬

I enjoyed TGAASNH. I found it gripping and tension filled. The ending I was a bit meh about but Im fussy with endings.

People discussing The Remains of the Day? I have been summoned!

It's my favourite book I've read so far this year out of 82, and I don't see how that's going to change. Really didn't expect to like it and was utterly blown away by how much I did.

I'm off on holiday this week and I need entertaining reads for the pool. In the mood for something like The Appeal by Janice Hallet. Also keen for something with a handsome man I can fall in love with by the pool, my type is Aaron Blackford from Spanish Love Deception or Joshua Templeman from The Hating Game.

I also bought The Paper Palace. I've heard good things about it.

My next read is Insomnia by Sarah Pinborough. She's a bit hit and miss for me, so hoping I enjoy this one.

I hope you are OK. I missed your posts.
Aw thank you! I bloody knew I’d find one person who missed me 😂😂
I kept the faith 😂😂
Boring info ⬇
I’ve been in hospital since the end of January really, but getting back to the land of the living.

Re-read The Commitments today after many years. I was on training half the day on zoom so thought I'd 'work from home' the rest of the day by reading. I didn't actually know there was a trilogy so just ordered the set. Will give the other copy I've got to my friend in like a book swap thing we do.
