I rated it higher (4) but agree with you, I didn’t get a touch of the devastation others have reported and wondered if I was more of an ice queen than I thought. Other books since have in fact reminded me I have loads of feelings 🤣
lol I have cried more at romantasy books than this.

again for me, I think it just comes back to how one dimensional the characters were so I really didnt connect with any of them to feel sad about anything happening to them.

I dislike Frieda McFadden immensely so why her book was picked twice I'm not sure. It may be because my rule of just 8 tbr books at any one time and I figured if I had her it would kill two birds with one stone. She hurts my eyeballs and it was a waste of reading time. 1.5* rounded up to 2*.

I think my favourite book was This Book Won't Burn it is a young adult book and does read as such. It was quite predictable, but I got a little bit teary eyed as the main character went on her journey.

Anyway, a full page of bookmarks pleases me!

I think I have to wait until 1st July for the summer challenge.
Well done you!

Im only on 5/12 but didnt really feel like doing it this time so that 5 is by accident really

Listening to Hannah Murray’s memoir. Wish she would stop doing the American accents. She is not very good! But the book is fascinating

I'm participating in a step challenge for the next fortnight so really need a good audiobook to keep me wanting to go out walking. Any recommendations?

I just finished The Death of Us by Abigail Dean has anyone read it? I found it quite a strange book and quite hard to follow but it was well written. Also was annoyed as the kindle edition finished at 91% as the final 9% was acknowledgements and other rubbish after. So frustrating as I felt the ending just came out of nowhere.

i really loved secret of strangers by Charity Norman on audiobook. Not sure reading it would have had the same impact for me.
