Out of all the Milly Johnson books I have read so far I would say that The Mother of all Christmases was my favourite with An Autumn Crush a close second.
There was one where there was a hilarious incident at a wedding I think at the beginning.
Could have been Happiest Ever After.
ETA I've been waiting aaagggeeesss!!! for An Autumn Crush from the library!!!

Margot’s got money troubles was the highlight (4 and a half stars)
Also read a few sugar books (Megan Quinn, Carmen Reid, Shari Low) as well as Rachel Lynch’s Kelly Porter prequel and I give my marriage a year by Holly Wainwright.
again my better judgement I read the latest Freida book (Dear Debbie) a I honestly could tell you much about it after reading it 3 weeks ago
now to load up the kindle for my upcoming trip to Vancouver- I need a lot of reading ready to go before the plane leaves Melbourne this weekend!!!

February was a great month for me reading wise. I’ve not been well so not been going anywhere and have tried to doom scroll less, picking up my kindle much more often. I’ve also started listening to audiobooks at work more which always ups my numbers.
The Gone series, Lord of the Flies and Notes on a Nervous Planet are all rereads and I’ve enjoyed them just as much the second time round (or tenth in the case of TLotF!).
Biggest disappointment was The Midnight Feast - nothing happened! I loved the first couple Lucy Foley books I read but have been disappointed by the others. I don’t think I’ll read any more of hers.
I’m counting Fear in February reads as I finished it in the very early hours of yesterday.

I've just finished A Secret Cornish Wish by Ali McNamara, which I originally thought was going to be a DNF.
It took a bit of time to get going, and by halfway through the book I was flying through it. Only to end up a snivelling wreck by the end.

Did you listen or read parenting hell? I have the physical copy but I may listen to it instead!
I listened to it. I think part of its appeal was hearing Rob and Josh’s voices sharing their stories. It’s one instance where I think the audio would be better than the physical copy.
I have managed to get all the books in the Benson Family series by Chrissie Manby so I am looking forward to reading these in the next few months. I have already read A Wedding at Christmas twice before but I decided that I wanted to get the other 3 books in the series to see what I had missed in them.
I’ve only read the first in the Gone series but what a ride! The scene with the arm has stayed with me ever since 🫣 and the kid who decides to take over McDonalds, bless him.
I've stuck my neck out and ordered a different genre from the library.. Author seems popular and has written lots of books. Hopefully it's not creepy and I have to hide under the bedclothes

Not sure if time travel is my bag.I read them all as they were first released and loved them. I got so excited last month when I realised they were on KU and I’ve torn through them all. Started the last one of the main series yesterday and have the three add ons lined up for when I’m done. Although they’re aimed at 13 year old boys I love them! They’re gritty, dark and so fast paced.

)Overall I liked it. It was very much a right book right time for me - very easy to read and kept me interested. what did you think of love by the book?? Im currently reading Maame and I love it, looking forward to more from the author.
So after declaring I wasn’t going to read anymore Kristen Hannah books because of how much trauma she throws at her characters, I’ve just read The Women! 
And actually for the most part I actually really liked it. Yes, lots of traumatic events as per usual but most felt in context given the setting of the story.

Yes, lots of traumatic events as per usual but most felt in context given the setting of the story.However because I know how KH writes so may of the big dramatic events were totally predictable and therefore for me didn’t have the impact I’d imagine she intended - Frankie falls in love in Vietnam, of course he’s going to “die” (x2!); she gets pregnant, of course she’s going to lose the baby; she starts volunteering for a POW campaign, of course her “dead” bf is going to turn out to be alive all along (again x2!). Can’t deny this one was a good read for the most part but I find her frustrating as there always seems to be so much potential in the storylines but she takes the easiest most obvious route every time.
What did you end up thinking of Half His Age? I was thinking about it and then saw a quite bad review.
I finished the Aisling series and feel a bit lost after 5 books in succession. Thanks to the poster who recommended a good, funny Irish girl and her family, saga, it was just what I needed. I’d love to hear of others with that Derry Girls mad family vibe.
