I've just settled down to read one of my library books - The Christmas Retreat by Trisha Ashley - and I think I'm going to like it, not least because it has a cat called Mrs Snowboots in it, and the heroine has written a book called Mrs Snowboots Saves Christmas.
It's giving me all the feels, and by rights I should be reading it on a squashy sofa with cosy throws and cushions, a roaring fire and a mug of cocoa/hot chocolate with a large swirl of whipped cream and toppings.
As I've done my usual trick of reserving books just published for Christmas they've naturally all arrived in the library at the same time.

So, if I like this book, I might need to buy it and savour it once I've got through the pile of books and my things to do list (rapidly growing).
