This doesn’t fill me with confidenceI finished I See You last week and have already forgotten the storyline
I’ve decided I liked the writing style, most of the story, but there were quite a few points I didn’t like or understand the point of and I didn’t like the last 10-15%, it felt rushed. So overall I think I did like it, would read other stuff by the same author, but not necessarily sure I would recommend Vladimir to others?I felt a bit like this. I decided I did though

Better yet when I got to the till my OH paid so I got 6 stamps on my Waterstones card

Tennis Lessons was interesting so Im hopeful about it. I felt that it had so much promise but was a bit lack lustre. Im hoping its a bit better.let us know what you think of common decency as i hated it and would be interested to see if someone liked it
Finished The People at Number 9 today. It was actually a pretty good read. The reviews weren't great, but I thought it was good. Now onto Talking At Night.
I’m currently listening to the first Outlander audiobook and the narrator is fine but I wish the actors from the series could narrate it!
What did you think? I was tempted then decided to wait until it comes out in paperbackGuys I finished The Covenant of Water! So I only need to finish A Spell of Good Things before the 18th and it’s not huge so hallelujah!

Finished a couple of books so I’m happy with that. Got some time off coming up and hoping I can get plenty reading done then too.

It’s definitely more character focused and generational story telling rather than plot based (although there’s a fairly solid plot in there too). It was on track for a 4* until about 75% in where I thought it lost it’s way a little but I still gave it 3.5*

Had high hopes for this Irish lit as its one of my fave genre’s but it wasn’t great. It was an ok listen but i just didnt feel invested in the characters at all and the all that anticipation for the end and it just didnt go anywhere really.

Me too! I read it at the start of this year and I was very unsure about it
It seems a bit of a hit-or-miss with goodreads reviewers, but I loved it! It's also a standalone, so if you fancy it, you don't have to have read the previous one.
I have finished reading the middle 3 Robert Galbraith Strike series (still waiting on the first and last two from the library). My favourite being Lethal White and yes I am hooked like everyone else on this series now. 
I'm currently half way into Erica James A Secret Garden Affair which I'm really enjoying, and despite saying to myself I'll finish the chapter, I have to read on as yet more family secrets are revealed.....
A Lady's Guide to Fortune Hunting is currently winging it's way to my local library so I'll soon be able to read the book you're talking about.

Anyone read The Sentence by Louise Erdrich? Its been on my wish list for a while and seems to be down to £2.99 at the moment. My library doesn't have it and like most books I want to read, they don't seem likely to get it in but £2.99 is a bit dear by my rules for just a punt type books I am not sure if i will like or not
